Hawkeye 2nd printing variant

We will definitely look into this book and the various printings. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

A word of caution, some YouTube personalities are driving the market even when it doesn't make sense. (There are hundreds of 2nd printings on eBay, so it's not rare) Comic Tom talked about a certain artist and instantly that person is wildly sought after. Even though the art is second rate in my opinion. Some of this feels like the bubble created by Wizard back in the '90s. Be careful about how you spend your money. If you love it, then buy it. If it's only on the advice of a YouTuber, take it with a grain of salt.

We try to report the market not influence it.

I added "the" into the search terms so that it will come up either way.

There are time limits but 99.9% of the time, your entire collection will reappear when you upgrade to Gold again. Bronze members can only see 50 books. That has always been our policy but there was a loophole that we closed about a year ago.

Anyone who has these issues, can you please submit scans or send the scans to me? It looks like all the scans are wrong. I will be searching for as many as I can find but this is a rare title so I'm sure some issues will be missing. Not going to use the Mike's Amazing scans since they are so small but they are helpful.

I'm adding dates to the issues now and searching for available scans.

From my understand none of these books are numbered. So I will be removing the numbers but putting them in sequential order by date. (Making the scans even more important)

Thanks,
Ron

We are super proud of this latest milestone. We currently have 1.1 million books in our database. rock on

For everyone who added a cover scan, submitted a missing issue, submitted a missing variant, thank you. This is the culmination of so many people working hard to add issues each week. (Jesse is the MVP) ScottWesty has added a huge number of retail and newsstand issues lately. Other admins and members approve things to keep this machine going. Please enjoy this moment with us, because you were a part of it!

As I was going through this title, looking for scans and correcting things, it drew me in. Based on the sales I've seen and the rarity of pictures, this is a difficult title to find in any condition. It's got some great covers and a genuine innocence to it. Since it was an activity book (think most copies would include writing) produced mostly in the 1940s (think war effort paper drive) and a give-a-way (think not valued), this title is rare in higher grades. The problem with putting a value on books like this is that they sell so infrequently. We will be adjusting prices based on the limited sales at Heritage and eBay.

The person who is working on the retail and newsstand issues is going by title. If you go to the newest covers page you'll see where he is working.
https://comicspriceguide.com/new-scans

If you would like to contact him through the site his user name is ScottWesty. He's personally uploaded almost 3200 scans since starting here.
Together with all the admins, we upload more books than any other site with thousands added each month. We make no guarantee about turnaround because we are doing the best we can do with the staff we have.

Restored books are so difficult to price and we don't delve into it. For an ultra key issue like ASM 129 the value would be closer to a non-restored book. Congrats on adding such an important book to your collection

CPG Sellers Posting Feedback to CPG Buyers

This is how the system works. This is the key page for managing sales, especially the toolbar to the right
https://comicspriceguide.com/your-sales/

Offer
The buyer makes an offer. The seller is sent an email and a message through the site notifying them.
The seller then has 3 option. Seen on this page https://comicspriceguide.com/your-sales/offers-in
1. Accept the offer
2. Decline the offer
3. Let the offer remain open to see if anyone else is interested in the book. (up to 7 days)

Accepted offer
If the offer is accepted, then the buyer is notified and the books are moved to this page for the seller

https://comicspriceguide.com/your-sales/limbo
The seller will need the buyer's Paypal email address to invoice them. (Don't use Venmo unless you know the seller well.)
After payment is received, the seller marks it as paid and ships the comic.

Received Comics
After the buyer receives the comics, he or she should mark the item as received on the limbo page.
Now the buyer can leave feedback on this page.
https://comicspriceguide.com/your-sales/feedback

I hope that clarifies things.

Weird Website Question

Ronbatman

So, I've owned a domain name for maybe 18 years. At times, I used it and grew a following but now it's just sitting there. I'd like to sell my domain name to a fellow comic book lover. I could go to GoDaddy or Sedo to sell it. Does anyone have a creative thought on this?

The domain is ComicBookGeeks.com and .net

Thanks for any help,
Ron
