You might not find it here because it probably doesn't meet the guidelines:

General Guidelines

  • 1. We are not adding signed or re-marked books at this time.
  • 2. We do not list publications which contain less than 40% comic strip material
  • 3. The more information you can supply the faster we can add the books.
  • 4. No more than 10 outstanding requests per member please.
  • 5. Please wait at least a week following the release of standard US comics before posting a request for them to be added to the system. These are usually all listed on a release list we get weekly that can take up to a week to get through.

Superman-Tim Store book was more of a catalog / activity book with some illustrations throughout .... just my thought smile

it qualifies, as according to mycomicshop, "All issues are 16 pages unless a Superman story is inserted (bringing page count to 24 or 36 pages)", so that makes them 50% or more comics (50% is the newer standard).

It's listed here, but no pic of that issue. Series is https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/superman-tim/pjpx
#3: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/superman-tim/3/poqyb

Mike's Amazing World has it as #3, Oct. 1942 with a pic: http://www.mikesamazingworld.com/mikes/features/comic.php?comicid=156070
Mike's has pics of most (note to admins or users to get more pics for CPG, but they're not very big): http://www.mikesamazingworld.com/mikes/features/guide.php?page=promo&groupid=58

mycomicshop also has a listing, but no pic for any 1942 issues beyond #1, but their numbering is off after that, according to Mike's.

Google can probably find you more info.

The cover for the number 6 in the cpg database is the incorrect cover. Not sure about other mistakes but i do have a copy of the 6 and in mikesamazingworld it matches the one i have.

makes sense, as #6 at Mike's says January on the cover, which adds up from #3's Oct, so CPG's #5 pic with May isn't right. Mike's has that cover as May 1949, #82 : http://www.mikesamazingworld.com/mikes/features/comic.php?comicid=37715

Anyone who has these issues, can you please submit scans or send the scans to me? It looks like all the scans are wrong. I will be searching for as many as I can find but this is a rare title so I'm sure some issues will be missing. Not going to use the Mike's Amazing scans since they are so small but they are helpful.

I'm adding dates to the issues now and searching for available scans.

From my understand none of these books are numbered. So I will be removing the numbers but putting them in sequential order by date. (Making the scans even more important)

Thanks,
Ron

emailed you some sites with pics, which you've probably found anyway. the 'numbering' just goes by the month apparently, so good enough.

As I was going through this title, looking for scans and correcting things, it drew me in. Based on the sales I've seen and the rarity of pictures, this is a difficult title to find in any condition. It's got some great covers and a genuine innocence to it. Since it was an activity book (think most copies would include writing) produced mostly in the 1940s (think war effort paper drive) and a give-a-way (think not valued), this title is rare in higher grades. The problem with putting a value on books like this is that they sell so infrequently. We will be adjusting prices based on the limited sales at Heritage and eBay.

Yes, however ive seen some lower/mid grade copies selling for 25-40$. Its a fun series that defiantly brings you back to different time and they are really early Superman. I'm so happy to have the two. and honestly i just fell into them. The 3,6 i have were bought from the same source in Iowa, which is where the Tim Stores were located. Possible that they are more common in that area of the country, but who knows after all this time?

Side note.... I have submitted an Italian variant for Thor 165, im not seeing that as pending on my member ranking section? how does that process work?
