All I can find on the website is the collection, not the individual parts which I have 1 of. It is a direct copy if that changes anything with this issue.

Annuals, Specials, hardcovers, trade paperbacks, ashcans, Free Comic Book Day/FCBD for regular series are usually not listed separately, but sometimes are, so mostly they're under the regular series name, click that, then click the appropriate tabs to see those issues. Can be tricky to find with all the reboots and cross-over production years.

Mine shows the last 10 entries for each. Not sure if that's a "free member" limit or if that's what everyone sees.

Thanks, I didn't know how to see these either, so had a few to correct, although 1 was correct the first time. I also only see the last 10 issues. so bookmarked that page now, then have to remember to check it more often.

Incorrect "misses"

Hi David,
I thought one of my 'misses' was correct, and had checked it on GCD, but it seems they're wrong too, after I found a better pic on mycomicshop just now, so I could read the month better. So I fixed it again.
On another one my year was supposedly wrong, but that's the year CPG said, just had no month. It was the only issue listed, and the month was on the comic, so used the year CPG had noted. GCD said it was the year before, so does mycomicshop, so I changed it today. That was for https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/star-ranger-funnies/15/wbvpkq . Should be 1938 and not 1939.

My other misses were misses however, some for the wrong year I typed in, some for wrong month, which happens a lot when the cursor jumps when I choose the month, and most times I catch it, other times I hurry and click 'next issue' and miss seeing that the month was changed to the wrong month. can't win 'em all.

so I think they're submitted correctly now. and it looks like they finally corrected 'sumbmitted' on the popup when you submit pics.

Sale Limit?

https://comicspriceguide.com/profile/#_membership
assuming you mean to put in your inventory? bronze members (free) get to use just the classifieds to sell, limit of 2 ads and there's a character limit in the ads. you get to have 50 items in your inventory/collection, but you can't use the Sell feature.
Silver members get to LIST up to 300 comics at a time in their invent, but you can SELL as many as you want-- as items sell and you remove them, you can add new ones, so you can sell more than 300 a month, or a day, and replace them with new ones.
Gold members (make your own Austin Powers joke) get unlimited inventory and selling. or do you mean on the forums, which only the auction listings forum is where you can post stuff for sale? doesn't have to be auctions, but they tried a marketplace forum and it didn't do much, so it was deleted.
hope that helps.

when I did more that got approved, it just replaced the ones that were there, so for free members at least, it appears they only show 10 at a time, but there's no limit on how many pendings you can have. I do hundreds of missing prices at time.

Question for an admin so we all know: When we correct our misses, why don't they disappear off the misses list?

You're right, they're showing the regular edition flip cover for the Gold one. Saw the actual Gold embossed edition on that auction site. Too bad comics.org doesn't have it. it's on MCS tho, so CPG can see what it looks like: https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?q=+Youngblood+Strikefile+%231&pubid=&PubRng=

good to hear, hope we get some functionality back that's useful. Ron, could you PM or email people who ask with a list of who you consider the competition? If you list them here, then your break your own rule, then we're in a Knights Who Say 'Ni' situation.

So I'd like the list so I'm sure who not to post links to, thanks.

Army of Darkness: From The Ashes missing variant

It's faster if you submit it yourself. Take good square-on pics/scans, .jpg format preferred, cropped to the edges. If you can't, then find them on the net, with no watermarks, and no signatures. Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. You must be logged in to do this.
  • Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'.
  • You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants.
  • Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request.
See this post for how to check on variants you've submitted: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic15583-new-feature-related-to-variants.aspx

If a company says they are a price guide and they are online then they are competition. A list would be dated since they appear and then fade over time. I'm not going to limit it with a list. As a point of reference, we are double the size of the next closest competitor. (who scrapped our site for their data)

It's different for the comic book sales side of things since we don't make anything from sales. So you can post a Heritage, Comic Link, eBay link.

you forgot to start it off with, "This one time, at band camp..." All good stories start off like that, don'tcha know?

and is "Deals are out there my friend" the new "Stay thirsty, my friends" for comic collectors? Maybe Marvel should bring back Not Brand Echh and change it to 'Dos Echhies' and devote it to amazing untold tales of comic book deals and use your 'slogan'. smile

Hi,
normally if you can find an issue in the database here, there will be a list of people at the bottom with it for sale if anyone has it, but it seems this isn't listed under anything I tried, so best to keep googling, although someone may see your post and have it. Good luck!

Tip #1: do a search on the forum first. this title is asked about fairly often, so has multiple answers about finding it in the database.
Tip #2: When you don't get ANY search results, the page has a blurb below with a list of search tips, first one says "No results? Try these tips: Are you looking at the right country? Try changing the search to "All Countries". Your search may have been published outside the USA." That doesn't show if you get some results tho.
Tip #3, as you're new and will need this info for the other search problems that come up: See this thread for my search tips (4th post down): https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic12110-evil-ernie-youth-gone-wild-directors-cut.aspx

X-men Mutant Apocalypse info?

collectibleshop
collectibleshop
Hi,
It's in the guide here at https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/x-men-prelude-to-perdition-giveaway/1/thqsns . Value is low here, but on that auction site they're asking $75-$86, with 1 sold for a best Offer under $73.99, so methinks CPG is behind the curve on the price. I only looked for X-MEN PRELUDE TO PERDITION there, others may have it as just an X-Men video game comic, or X-Men promo comic etc.

So hard to tell by that what the level of interest is. Plenty of X-Men-centric forums on the net that may have more collector feedback, and maybe some members here can chime in. The listing page here says only '2 owned', so doesn't seem to be that popular here, although MANY members may not have any of their collections listed here, so hard to know. I read the game was popular and sold well, so surely there's plenty of the comic available still, but maybe not many on the market now.

And CPG has it as 1991, but the 2 auctions sellers say 1995, so don't know who's right, not interested in researching that more. Google it with that title and see what comes up. Good luck!
