2/7/2021 Topic: Black Widow widow's sting collectibleshop	You CAN submit it yourself. Take good square-on pics/scans, .jpg format preferred, cropped to the edges (your dropbox pic is sideways by the way). If you can't, then find them on the net, with no watermarks, and no signatures. Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'. You should see a red box titled "! Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants. Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request. Be patient, it may take weeks/months. It's like they pick and choose what they wanna add. I've added multiple covers and info for plenty of books that they just haven't added, even tho the information was there. that's a completely different thing than your original post! make up your mind. it takes them time to do the backlog of submitted info. sometimes the info gets lost or doesn't go thru. if you have a list, contact an admin directly and let them know what's missing and how long ago it was submitted. or stop submitting and let it go.

2/10/2021 Topic: missing: X-Men the Movie Adaptation TPB collectibleshop	I don't have time at the moment to wait minutes for the X-Men search to load, but TPBs are listed under the Trade Paperback TAB/button on the main title they're associated with, so find the X-Men volume that corresponds to that year and it should be under the Trade PB tab.
2/10/2021 Topic: missing: X-Men the Movie Adaptation TPB collectibleshop	It SHOULD be under this series (1991-2001), https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/x-men/rluy , and there is a trade paperback tab and books, but the movie issue is not there, or under the vol. 1 series, and I didn't quickly find any other series it would be under since the rest started after 2001. so if it's here, it's maybe mis-filed, or just missing. Agreed, as it's not a regular '1A' of the series #1--not an alternate cover, not a reprint. They might put it under Wizard Special, but most of those are the full mag, not an insert/supplement like this is. It's not under the JLA Special, or mentioned with it either, but they maybe could mention it there, but they don't mention other supplements in those things either. I haven't looked for other Wizard inserts like that, so not sure how many are listed under a series title too, maybe most are, and that's just how they do it. Adding 'Wizard' to it's search terms would help. It's in the sub-title info but doesn't come up on a search for Wizard Hour Man, as you know. So Ronbatman can come along and 'splain things and maybe change how to find it. Plenty of stuff on here doesn't make sense with the search function or how something is listed, hence why using fewer and fewer keywords works a lot of the time. I've been sending Ron all kinds of corrections on stuff from doing verifying, and amazed at some of the mistakes and how long they've been up. 2/12/2021 Topic: Savage She-Hulk 25 Pin-Up collectibleshop	if that's the 1980's series, according to what I see at a site you can read it online (not sure if it's ok to post the URL), it appears the 2 splash pages at the end are the pin-ups, but I'm not 100% sure they scan EVERY page, but I think they do. The last story page is #38, no numbers missing before then, and they have 42 pages total, so I assume that's the complete comic. Generally pinups in that era are at the end, not in the middle, but not always.
2/12/2021 Topic: Comic Book Pricing Trends collectibleshop	4. We are seriously considering removing the 9.9 and 10 from our price guide since it encourages false value for some collectors. There are so few of these books and their prices vary so dramatically that we believe it hurts us instead of helps us by adding them. YAY! A good decision in my opinion, for just the reasons you stated. Newbies seem to come here and only look at the very top grades/prices and not pay attention and think their 'mint' comics are worth that much. I still lobby to drop the graded prices altogether too, unless you get some better info from GPA, as most I ever look at here are either way high or way low (mostly low). Maybe you can hook up with GPA and take their ads and get them to offer some deal for CPG members, and just direct people to them for graded prices. The Valiantfans site posts GPA values for graded Valiants that everyone can see, so they have some ok to do that, but of course GPA isn't going to let you use their data for free for all comics. I agree with #5 and coverless books. Prices vary too widely, especially on old keys, and I don't think there's that many being sold to get a good handle on them, or an algorithm that would be semi-accurate. 2/14/2021 Topic: Overstreet Price Guide - Values? collectibleshop	Not sure if any 1 site has a guide for the price guide, but mycomicshop has some (some on consignment too), and from a thread from 2013 on the CGC forums about this, the Overstreet Guide itself has a list in the back of values too. Not sure if they still do that, and of course if you have an older issue that has them, it's out of date for the current market. Maybe someone with a new one can tell you if they still do that. Otherwise it's just that auction site, and google searches to find them for sale. Mostly it's the first few that have much value, or used to be, and #1 of course is the highest. Hardcover versions are more sought after and more $ naturally, and in better condition than softcovers usually too.

I haven't dealt in coverless comics, but I see mentions of sales of IMPORTANT issues on the CGC forum and other places, so I know SOME sell for well over what any guide might list them for. And who made the algorithm of 15% of the 2.0 value? Overstreet (don't have one to check)? But then you state they'll still be undervalued for gold/silver anyway, so again, prices vary widely and are harder to come by, so CPG elected not to bother. Maybe down the road if enough coverless comics sell for something worthwhile, they'll start listing them, it maybe limit it to say pre-1965 comics over a certain value. Otherwise, yeah, you'll have to use the questionable sales on that auction site and other auctions the really valuable ones may turn up on. I can't see that many collectors needing a .3 grade here to add coverless comics to their long boxes for CPG to fool with that, and so few members use the forums it'd be hard to get a poll done with much useful info. You can make you own list on your own computer too, if you don't have thousands of coverless comics to type in. I found where CBCS back in 2017 adding coverless grades of .3 and .1, but the couple threads I read didn't make any corresponding percentage of value guesses. So agrees with both things I've said---most coverless comics are worthless, but keys of high value books can fetch some ok dough. The point of CPG not bothering with those grades is most likely due to the VERY small group of collectors who 'collect' them, and the lack of regular sales to judge value on the very few worthwhile coverless issues, regardless if that's a few thousand Gold & Silver age comics. They have better things to spend their time on that affect the majority of members. Ronbatman may be able to tell more about their decision/reasoning. 2/16/2021 Topic: Verify cover prices list not working collectibleshop	For the last couple/3 days, the Cover Prices list on the Verify page doesn't show me anything but 'no items need verification', which with currently over 600 noted, seems hard to believe all have been checked off and just not removed yet. Most of those are my recent submissions. The other lists work and show items, but I regularly get this error popup: "Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index". Have to click the category a few times and that popup stops, at least till I click another category. But why doesn't the cover prices one work? edited by collectibleshop on 2/16/2021
