That's the thing though, I don't think Will of Iron is the "master" name of the series. It's just the name of the first of the three mini-series / story arc. Will of Iron is books 1-4 Revelations is books 5-8 Fallen is books 9-12
Seems that way to me too, but it's the way they number them as all part of Will of Iron, so that's how CPG numbers them. Someone at Titan wasn't thinking very clearly to me, but not having read any of the issues, I don't know how or if they tie together. If I was CPG, I'd cross-ref them separately under their own titles too, and make a note in the subtitle that they're 'part' of the Will of Iron listing.
but that may depend on how the stories tie together, if at all. |

I just submitted it for you. for future reference, you can submit missing variants yourself. Save a GOOD cropped-to-the-edges pic with no watermark to your computer/phone first. Then go to the page that issue should be on, click on the Variants tab, click on the red 'Report Missing Variant' button in lower right after the other covers, and fill in the info boxes as best you can, and upload the pic from your computer/phone, and they'll get to it when they get to it. Be patient, it may take weeks. edited by collectibleshop on 10/31/2020 |

CPG doesn't generally list kickstarter stuff/web comics just so you know. there's way too many and more every day. they MIGHT list this trade version, but if not solicited thru normal comic distributors, chances are slim. That publisher also doesn't come up in their Publisher list, so likely not considered worthy, but Ronbatman can decide. edited by collectibleshop on 11/1/2020 |

Someone is extra spicy today!
nothing 'spicy' intended, just asking a legit question. there's a couple people here who the system gives an error message to when they try to add variants, yet it works for most others. iron_puppy has been here long enough to know how to add variants, so I wondered if that feature doesn't work for him is all. |

there's no program for that. you can either click the Attach Files button and upload a pic from your phone/computer, and that will only show as a link to open or download, or, if the pic is on the net, you can use the 'image' icon on the menu bar along the top of the composition area (the 'square' to the left of the palette color icon), and put in the link to the pic, then it will SHOW in the post.
be aware that hyperlinking like that is 'hotlinking' and uses the other site's bandwidth to supply the image, and many frown on that, and some don't care. if the pic is in the CPG database, no problem linking to it. If you right click on the bigger image that pops up, and choose 'view image' or 'copy image location' (may depend on what your browser offers), you use that URL for the image link here, so it will show just that image in your post vs. it going to the regular CPG listing. Some image storing sites let you hotlink from pics in your account, others don't, but that's another option.
hope that's clear enough. |

figured. they wouldn't accept the pic you attached anyway, it's a graded copy and not cropped. and it's too curved to crop well, so I found another pic, edited it, went to submit it, and found they already have it: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/marvel-super-heroes-secret-wars/8/vhqsnv this page has the rest: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/marvel-super-heroes-secret-wars/pkrqjv
it's under Alternate Publisher/Country versions when you click on Variants. When you search the full series it has the banner about that, but not on the individual issues, so I didn't see it the first time in the search results, so I didn't click on it to check for more Variants. And we both should've thought to use the Country choice, as they come up when choosing Canada.
so there ya go. |

Yeah except for the Canadian Price Variants aren't Canadian comics. They are are American comics printed in the USA with Canadian Price Variants.
CPG is noting these are ALTERNATE COUNTRY VERSION comics via the PRICE, not that they're published in Canada, hence the '/' between Alternate Publisher and Country in their banner when it comes up, and saying 'Canadian COPIES' under the series title, as noted previously. While having 'Canada' as a country choice to find them can be confusing as to publishing, it's not a big deal, and this is how they decided to do it. You can message Ronbatman and ask what the rational is if you want the official answer. |

Annuals, Specials, hardcovers, trade paperbacks, Free Comic Book Day/FCBD for regular series are under their own tabs with the series they go with (in this case the Vol 3 series).

and the only ones going for hundreds are graded 9.8s. the polybag is doing your comic no favors, and if sent for grading they'll remove the bag and toss it, just so you know. Non-graded copies are selling for very little on that auction site (single to low double digits), but maybe there's newer news about the Legacy character that will boost the selling price. edited by collectibleshop on 11/2/2020 |

cgc will grade you down and put a green lable if it is signed better to go with cbcs for the signature and get it varified.
thanks Gary
if he submits it to CGC for an in-house signing that they're doing like crazy, he'll get the regular Signature Series label. they will not 'grade down' for a non-witnessed sig just because of the sig, it will get a green label with a note about writing on the cover, and it will grade whatever grade it is. It won't fetch the same $ with a green label of course. so hopefully he's going for an in-house signing. |

Yes, the first 9 are black and white interiors, then title changes to The Hulk and they're in color for the most part. hence why CPG says on #9 "becomes The Hulk", meaning after #9, and #10/The Hulk! #1 says "Formerly Rampaging Hulk".
comics.org can give you more publishing/story details on them, as can a google search. https://www.comics.org/series/2403/ for rampaging hulk (click on the various blue links for cover gallery and details by issue). https://www.comics.org/series/2455/for The Hulk!.

YES that is correct for the in house signing.
as for the ones we sent in that was unwitnessed they dropped it at least 1 point with grader note saying only about the signature.
thanks Gary
FRANK-N-FREDS
well, news to me, but maybe they changed their standards again from when I submitted a non-witnessed sig comic like 3 years ago. it got a 9.8 as expected. Rhubbard07 may want to call CGC and check with them before he sends his in, if not doing an in-house signing. |

did a search on the CGC forums (mostly the Ask CGC forum), and a post from them in 2017 said this: "By giving your comic our Qualified label, we are ignoring the signature for purposes of the grade." That's for comics signed on the cover. So a non-witnessed sig isn't supposed to affect the grade (unless it's damaged the cover of course), or at least not then.
Comics signed inside can get a blue label, and a note on the label that says 'name written inside on 1st page', or if they feel like it, they'll print the name too. HOWEVER, it seems that with inside sigs, they may downgrade for the writing, although they may not too.
I emailed them this aft to ask what the current grading policy is for non-witnessed cover sigs, but won't hear back till Monday at least. Will update when I get a reply, just wanted to pass along this much info now.
And also saw that if you're sending in for an in-house signing, they suggest you make a 'window bag' for your book with a cut-out in it for where you want the sig, that way the rest of the book is protected from hand oil and possible wrinkling etc.. You can send it in without that cut-out and they will provide their own pre-made window bag, but then you don't get the choice of where it's signed, so something to consider. there's a thread or two over on their forums about window bags and making your own, it's pretty easy. of course that bag will get tossed before they slab the comic, so your choice of using a poly bag or fancier mylar. |
