Big Big Overstreet

Looking at a page I would say one big difference between the regular guide and the BIG BIG version that makes it easier to read is the space between each line of print.

Right Ron. I stopped buying printed guides a few years ago seeing just how easy it is to use COMICPRICEGUIDE.COM. I will say I do look at my old printed guide when figuring prices for Golden age and some Silver age books comparing theirs to this guide. Both give me a better understanding of what I might end up paying.
I do think that this guide is the best for finding modern variant prices since Overstreet may only listed around 1% of any type of variant books the past 30 years to now. Overstreet falls short in a BIG BIG way of how the way comics are being made, many many variants that collectors are buying up.

Diamond shape around Price and Issue

I stopped dealing with mile high seeing the grades are way off. Like 7 out of 10 books buy are over graded. Their computer system is a cheap owner not ever making changes in the system, a system that is decades behind.

Nice list, a few of my old tv shows, cool. I have somewhere in my collection a Banana Splits #2 CGC 9.4. At the time I bought it, it was the highest graded and only 9.4 of this issue. Right price and it’s yours.

You grade the book yourself and enter that grade for that book. If you don’t know how to grade, there are many sites, this site included explaining how to grade a comic book. Takes practice and for most takes some time to grade correctly.

Anyone watching the tv show Mr Imbetween?

Mr Imbetween is a tv show made in Australia that is in its second season. Funny as can be and each episode is only a half hour, always leaving me wanting more. Perfect show to binge watch. More for adults than kids. Anyone else watch this?

Your question should be in another section to get a faster answer, not in COMIC GRADING TIPS AND TRICKS. Try starting the question in the PRICE GUIDE RESEARCH area like the DATABASE & MISSING ISSUE DISCUSSION. J

Good you are not effected and you are well. What I’ve seen on tv looks terrible. Plenty of land in the world were humans shouldn’t live I agree.
All is good with me.

Trimmed Comics - I Got Stuck - How Do I Grade ???

quinnspuddinjoker
quinnspuddinjoker
I got a present from family a few years ago which was a fantastic four #48. Looked great, a VF looking book but edges looked too perfect and of course when putting book into a new silver age Mylar it was obvious that it was trimmed, too much space in silver age Mylar. Where ever it was bought, the seller put it in a modern bag and board to make it look right. Anyway didn’t want to tell my family member.
I also wonder what grade to give it. If selling I’d say looks like a VF book but trimmed. Nothing else to do.

Poll Question: Spending More Time or Less Time

No working but a big 3 hrs a week allowed by employer. No stimulus check yet, no tax refund yet even though filed in end of February and not much unemployment help by state. So to help stay afloat for awhile some of my books I am selling. Not many but enough to make it thru the end of May with bills. I am also rereading some series like Birds of Prey, Batgirl and Negation, Meridian and a few completed series I have by CrossGen.
