If you export a box to a PDF file and you have a newer version of Microsoft Word - Word will open the PDF file and you can manipulate it copy into Excel. They you can manipulate the numbers to get a cost of comics bought for each box.

As you know the variant issue has become overwhelming. Newsstand and direct, facsimile, foil, metal, virgin, holographic, glow-in-the-dark, bioluminescent, Mark's Jewelers, B&W, store variants, artist variants, Kickstarter, naughty and nice.

We have some great admins on the site who work behind the scenes approving things, fixing things and displaying their expertise in the comic field. Lately, we have noticed that the same people's names pop up repeatedly while others have vanished. We ran some queries on the database and found some admins aren't doing anything. Today we downgraded 7 admins to regular members. We are strongly encouraging our existing admins to work on variants. They will be working through the variant submission system.

With that in mind, please do not submit variants to my email or the forum. Use our automated system so that some people aren't jumping to the front of the line by submitting on the forum. The exception is if the title or regular issue doesn't exist in our system. We cannot expect you to submit a missing variant if the regular issue isn't there.

We ask for your patience because this is a massive issue. Last week I spent 25 hours on variants and as of yesterday, we have more variants in the system than the week before. You can help by submitting the right way. Some of you submit fantastic variants for approval: great pictures, clear descriptions and selling prices. Others submit items with bad pictures, no pictures, wrong store variants, information already in the system, personal information about how old they were when they bought the book. Seriously. Please help us, help you.

Anyone? Is there any useful tool here for easily filtering and reviewing your collection? How about the ability to export the database for our collection?

Would it be possible to have the limbo box organized in alphabetical order?

It would it easier to enter books instead of going over multiple pages

missed seeing this reply. CPG should have a pretty good library of GK and Western, so what issues of what titles can't you find? Since I'm not a paying member, I haven't done the upload-my-own-scan thing, but plenty of other people have, so maybe one of them will chime in with newer instructions. did you try the youtube videos for that?

Actually, I finally found a place where I could tap into the GK/Western published editions, added my own to my collection, and also managed to add a few scans. My original scans were not accepted as too big and I found I could rescan them as jpg and they would be accepted. Thank you for your response.

Everytime I try to move a comic I tap "Add to Box" The Screen Goes White have to back up to clear screen. WTF My Unorganized is going to be going to overtake my other boxes. I pay yearly membership for this not only do I organize them physically I can't do it on file sorry this is getting frustrating

We had some delays with the app but have been in testing mode with our admins for a few weeks now. We want to make sure that it works great under real world conditions.

For the past 24 years, we have had all of the Four Color issues separated into individual titles like Porky Pig or Donald Duck. There were hundreds of titles that included Four Color issues. As of today, all Four Color issues are in a single title.

The titles are in the comments for all 1367 books. All dates are filled in and all scans are present. Key issues have been added.

In the coming days, we will be working on a special search function for this title since it's unique and difficult for newcomers. If you have a Four Color comic in your collection, it should look much more organized now. We did not delete any issues, we just moved them so your collection total is the same.

after multiple search attempts, it comes up if you use 'a plus x', although well down the results, even using 'starts with'. should be first that way. comes up as #3 if using 'exact phrase.'

Thanks - I did try search by publisher and still could not find it. Why do they come up with these #$%^ gosh darn titles anyway. LOL
