Yes, I can confirm your helpful research. The confusing part is that the indicia on my red cover version says first printing June 1992, which appears to be the correct first print run date. But the cover price is $16.95 which aligns with the 2nd print info shown on mycomicshop.com (first print cover price being $15.95 - a fat finger typo?). I mean, there are worse problems in the world - but I'd like to get this correct if I can. I'm going with the indicia of my red cover as correct and calling 'red' an alternate cover of the first printing. JPG upload to follow.

Many thanks - OG Stephan

ok. it can get confusing when they do multiple color covers, sometimes for 1st prints too, and the indicias have been known to be wrong on some later printings and they still say 1st print. cover prices often get typed wrong too, so you can't always trust a site has it right 100% of the time. could be the book was offered with a choice of red or blue lettering the 1st time, or 1 may be a retailer variant, but didn't see anyone call it that. time to call in Scooby Doo to solve the mystery.

always try a forum search first. this title has been asked about multiple times. UK published titles are under the country choice drop down menu button, or choose 'all countries' when you're not sure.

Hardcovers, softcovers is there grading?

Don't know why people just don't go to the source and ask CGC, or google the question. You can also join CGC's Collectors Society for free and have access to their census and look things up to see if any are graded.
CGC does not grade hardcovers, likely because of thickness and most have dustjackets that are easily damaged and may warp in the holder.
check this page: https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/collectibles-we-grade/
"CGC grades most comic books that fit within the following dimensions: 10-1/2" tall x 7-5/8" wide x 1/4" thick (except comics with hard covers or jeweled covers).
Magazines: CGC grades most magazines that fit within the following dimensions: 11-1/2" tall x 8-7/8" wide x 1/2" thick (except magazines with hard covers or jeweled covers)."

CGC has been grading softcover graphic novels and most TPBs for a few years now. They have graded the Dark Knight Returns TPB, but some TPBs will be too thick. No census listing for the Complete Frank Miller Batman hardcover, as it's too thick, so don't think CPG should have a graded price, so likely an oversight.

Pretty sure CBCS doesn't grade hardcovers either.

CPG has two listings, one spelled with Butt-Head spelled correctly (with the hyphen), one with it spelled Butthead. Not sure which 1 you found.

the correct one is https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/beavis-butt-head/snrq

the other search result without the hyphen is https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/beavis-and-butthead/skrym , and for some reason it has the UK covers for #21 and 22 and then stops there, and one listing has March 1993 for #1 and the other says 1994 (which is the correct date), so some admin has some cleaning up to do.

If you found the listing with #23-28 and mean there's no creator etc. 'Details' for those (there isn't for a lot of them, but it's mostly all the same team from what I see), you can submit that info yourself using the 'add' buttons on each issue's page (need to be logged in).

Where in Target were these at? Were they in toys or elsewhere?

a google search turned up this blog post from January: https://www.comicsbeat.com/dc-comics-target-batman-caped-crusader-100-page-giant/
"I was at Target on Friday evening when I happened across a display, near the Funko products adjacent to the TV and Movies in my local store, for a previously-unannounced Batman: The Caped Crusader 100-Page Giant."

but it may depend on each Target store, so could be anywhere, like with the Walmart ones. Apparently DC released this with no publicity, but I doubt by now any Targets still have any, but ya never know.

also just noticed that the 'correct' title listing is not fully correct. It has '&' instead of 'and' like it should be, so if you spell Butt-Head right but use 'and', it won't come up. lot of major mistakes for a title this old.

Shaun2rs, please don't add on to a thread about another title, you should start your own post so it gets seen by the right people sooner.

But, you can submit the variants yourself and delete those 2 posts, and just make 1 new one for Batbear, although CPG may not consider it worthy. Was it solicited to comic shops, or just internet and convention sales?

for the other 2, save a GOOD cropped-to-the-edges pic with no watermark to your computer/phone first. then go to their respective pages for #1, click on the Variants tab, click on the red 'Report Missing Variant' button in lower right after the other covers, and fill in the info boxes as best you can, and upload the pic from your computer/phone, and they'll get to it when they get to it.

also try to post pic attachments or links to pics, as that helps a lot to identify the variants, as many aren't titled with the comic store's name or publisher's variant name, just 'B,C,D' etc, so hard to be sure they're not already listed, as some people may not have the 'show variants' choice checked, although that's the default.

CPG doesn't list ANY Big Little Books apparently. None under Whitman, Golden Press or Western. Nothing for Chester Gump at all either. I think someone makes a separate Big Little Books price guide, but you'll have google that yourself.

Missing: Phase

I found a blog post about it that had more details. It may not be listed here for a couple reasons, or they may add it.
It's noted as a Fanzine, and there's lots of those not listed. The article doesn't cover the whole mag, but what it shows is 1-2 page splash panels or pinups, 1 full short story, and other 'excerpts' of other comic stories, so that may not qualify for the 'needs to be 50% or more of comic stories' requirement, as CPG may want most stories to be complete stories, not bits.

an admin can look at the blog page and decide: http://offthebeatenpanel.blogspot.com/2012/06/phase-1-1971.html

the #2-5 issues ARE listed, they just don't have the covers or much creator info, so that's what you needed to point out. But, YOU can submit info yourself. When logged in, click the Details tab on the issue, and see all those 'add' buttons and the one under the blank pic box that says "contribute scan?" click those and fill in what you know or can find in the issues, assuming you own them.
I see a couple issues have scans that have been approved but not added yet, so you don't need to submit those scans. I also see they're all marked 1979 despite several being published well after 1980.

comics.org has more pics and creator info if you need them, but even they don't have much info on some of them: https://www.comics.org/series/52423/

to give frank666 some more info--to report a missing variant, save a GOOD cropped-to-the-edges pic/scan with no watermark to your computer/phone first. then go to the issue's listing on here, click on the Variants tab, click on the red 'Report Missing Variant' button in lower right after the other covers (must be logged in), and fill in the info boxes as best you can, and upload the pic from your computer/phone, and they'll get to it when they get to it. As Ron noted, there's no way CPG has the time to monitor the hundreds of store and artist sites to keep on top of the ridiculous amount of exclusive variant covers, so it's up to the membership to submit them or report them on the forum, and attached pics or links to pics REALLY HELP (for future people reading this).

OPENING NEW COMIC SHOP...NEED NAME

Let's see... Economy in recession that may last a couple years. Virus pandemic making people stay home, lose jobs/have medical expenses so they don't have money. Big election coming up that may further hurt (or help) the economy and virus treatment/control. Yep, perfect time to open an essential business like a comic shop smile.

If you're going to have a website eventually too, you really want Comics in the name of the store and website URL, and don't spell it 'Comix', that will hurt your site rankings.

So here's some realistic choices for the times (meant as tongue in cheek, ok?):

Dr. Doomed Comics

Bad Timing Comics

What, Me Worry? Comics (may have a copyright problem with MAD magazine.)

I Have All the Best Comics, Everyone Says So. Perhaps the Best Comics Ever. No One's Seen Comics Like These Before. All CGC 10's. Everyone That Wants a Comic Can Get a Comic. And Mexico Will Pay For Them. We'll See What Happens.

Fantastic Four Comics (Monthly Sales Total).

Kevin's, the Man Without Fear Comics.

Kevin's, Agent of C.H.A.P.T.E.R. 11 Comics.

Or, 'The Man from C.H.A.P.T.E.R. 11 Comics.'

Or, 'Plan Chapter 11 From Outer Space Comics.'

The Titanic of Comics. (only has one door, and no ice allowed inside)

What We've Got Here, Is a Failure...to Start With, Comics. (Cool Hand Luke movie reference for the under 60 crowd).

there's a million more, but you get the idea. Good luck anyway.

I see his site has LOTS of his exclusive covers, so assume you can find all yours there. BUT, I forgot to mention, and so did Ron, that CPG does not list values for SIGNED comics. So if any of Campbell's exclusives were ONLY signed editions, they won't list them here.

try to add creator info too, it saves people time tracking that down. Your pic links don't work for me, but that may be my browser settings/add-ons stuff. I attached an optimized pic for CPG in case yours doesn't work for them.
from a wiki page on the TV show: "In 1979 American comic book publisher FBN (Fantasy Book Novels) Publications produced a comic book adaptation (written and drawn by Angel Gabriele and artist Richard Lynn) of the first four episodes of Ambassador Magma." CPG has the 1994 version tho.
Found a few for sale, prices are all over the place, but didn't look for SOLD prices. Gotta leave CPG some of the fun smile

It's a 'known' printing ink error, so not a variant. the 1 in your pic is worse than the others I saw, and could have been 'enhanced' by some kid, but likely just a really bad error one that got thru. amazing how it got placed right on Cap's face though.

here you go: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/superman/75/vnptn

a google search for 'death of superman black bag' will turn up a bajillion results for this, it was about the most famous issue in the 1990's. But he got better, as Monty Python would say. always try a google search first, it will usually find what you're looking for, then you can put it in the CPG search.

Wang Dang Sweet "KTANG!" Comics. (for '70s/80s rock fans)

I saw some that weren't watermarked, but the 1 Frank has is, so found a pic with no watermark. again, google searches are useful...
if CPG wants to see/use all the variant covers for WW 750, Bleeding Cool has them here:

Mary Jane #1 covers: https://bleedingcool.com/comics/marvel-demonstrates-commitment-to-mary-jane-series-with-24-variants/

that'll be tree-fiddy for the work.

Missing Comic Series: A Movie Classic - UK

they list the Western Classic series, dunno why Movie Classics aren't listed, but they are reprints, so not all that important. They list 'the Nature of Things' issue under it's own name by Four Color, if that helps:
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/nature-of-things-the-four-color/842/pjuymx

comics.org says there's 88 issues of Movie Classics, and they have pics for most, but only skeletal data for most, but surely the US versions have the same data. If someone wants to submit the World Distributors ones, here's comics.org's list:
