Thanks Ron, my daughter is tops! Sometimes it works out turning kids on comics early and reap rewards when they are adults!

If you look at the price guide on this site, you will see values of third party graded books. The graded books values are listed under “graded books” on every book listed on site. You should use the area on this site listed as “SEARCH COMICS” to look up a comic you are looking for value.....
The graded books values should be a starting point of what a book might be valued at and what you might pay for such book. Most people use other sites search engines to see completed auctions or sold auctions to get a feel of what a book is selling for. You need to do some work and look around this site to help yourself.
Just remember price guides are just that, a guide and are not 100% accurate but some are pretty close of over all prices.

No, there is no function here to put in a CGC or CBCS number to find value, nor does any third party grading company give this information of what books are going for.

Kris, walkinwillie most times starts a post about his new auctions but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t come back to read further posts. You should ask him your shipping question thru one of his auctions on eBay by using “contact seller” option. Hope this helps and happy collecting!

CGC Graded Books With Blank Labels on EBay.

My only thought is the book you mentioned just came out or about to come out and some sellers are sending the books to CGC to be graded and selling books before they get the books back from CGC. So it is most likely a generic made picture showing the cover and the grade they are selling. I see this all the time.

Mr Twat, just use a search on eBay using “CGC PRESALE” and you’ll see many of the generic graded photos.

A glare is kinda strange reason, I agree with you photo is clear. Good thing about PayPal and it’s partner EBay, if you get screwed over, getting your money back is easy to do. Hopefully you find another seller if in doubt and the cost is reasonable. Good luck in your search.

I’m not but daughter and partner are going. Chris Claremont, frank cho, George Perez Humberto Ramos Marv Wolfman Artgerm is what I’ll ask them to get from anyone of my list. If I had to pick one to have them get a signature for me it would be Claremont.
He had such a long amazing run on X-men that I enjoyed all of it.after him, Perez, Ramos and Artgerm.

Is the default grade still as a 9.4 on the site for uploading a persons collection or book? That in its self isn’t reasonable or smart for site to have the default a 9.4 to me.
As a buyer I never believe a seller that says a book is 9.4 or better unless I’ve been buying from seller for some time to know how seller grades and I adjust my bids or offer to seller.

Well that sucks. Not often but it does happen that sellers ends all business with you while wanting to return books or complain of the grades. It’s their right though. Has happened to me when I gave a seller 3 stars instead of 5 stars. Sometimes the way we communicate with sellers with a problem can end badly, but know there are better sellers to find the same books, maybe not a better deal of the money but get the grade of books described. That’s worth paying extra I think.

The Hulk Special I got a few years ago, but the rest listed are my newest buys this week. Nice stuff indeed, will be without money for awhile. Shopping while manic isn't a great thing but luckily I actually bought some books I really wanted.

Me too, I use it for my iPad wallpaper now and it’s a fun read, even have a Boys Commandos story. It’s my oldest Detective book I own.

Thank you Gilgandra for looking. The Planet Comics issue I wish I would of bought a copy a few years ago. Found one in a fine/very fine back then and it would of cost less that I paid for the 5.0 condition at this time, oh well.

Be it one or a million users/members it is a great site to use for my hobby. Very thankful for all that contribute to make it work, be it the paid workers or the many users that continually upload scans or give data for books.
