I got a gift certificate to my comic shop. Needless to say, 11 issues of Detective 1000 are covered.

Nice. How many Detective 1000's are you trying to collect?

My local shop hooked my wife up with a Michael Turner Supergirl Statue and a Jim Lee Superman statue.

I'd like to get all but beyond the 11 covers solicited in Jan Previews, i haven't seen who else was having vendor exclusives.

My wife bought me two frames for two Spider-Man lithographs that I have - the JR Sr and Jr one and an Alex Ross one where he's fighting Green Goblin. She also let me get a ton of comics. Some of the nicer ones are Tales of Suspense #s 79-82 & 99, Amazing Spidey Annual 21 (Pete & MJ Wedding), and Daredevil 170 (first appearance of Kingpin in Daredevil). Oh! And a 9.2 Infinity Gauntlet 1.

Sean, I did not realize that Kingpin's first appearance in Daredevil was that late. 1st Appearance in Amazing Spidey #50 (July 67) and 1st Appearance in Daredevil (May 1981).

Quinn, your daughter obviously loves you.

Thanks Ron, my daughter is tops! Sometimes it works out turning kids on comics early and reap rewards when they are adults!

Yeah, I triple-checked it before I bought it. It's also the first time we learn his name is Wilson Fisk.
