BCW Comic Book Bins

I bought them when they were still $99 for the 5 pack and have 2 bins left for expansion. The other boxes I have are the comic drawers and like those too but if the cost per box is the same, I'll go with the plastic ones.

If you go to BCW's website (bcwsupplies.com), you can order the boxes there for about $125 for a pack of 5 with free shipping (anything over $200). Definitely cheaper than Bezos' baby or ebay. Might as well buy comic supplies too if you're getting the free shipping.

Yeah, those little bins have gotten pricier. However, I am trying to transition over to them since they protect the books a bit better. Amazing the false sense of security I was giving myself with the long/short white ones. I generally order from Amazon, well, because of Covid and I can get them next day, but I have to really watch the prices since they are so volatile. They aren't available on Subscribe and Save so no discount there.

The other is Mylar 2mm bags. However, I put them on Amazon Subscribe and Save with Prime and I have the same price now as I did last May. They limit me to 2 a month though. Its worked out well, though, as I have been a bit more thoughtful on my approach to processing/evaluating my books given that I will only switch 100/month to Mylar. I know, I too am surprised I didn't have bag/board degradation for the decades the books were in the same enclosure.

Here is the crazy price history for Mylar Bags on Amazon and they are at a silly $31 right now. With S/S, I am paying $17.

I order my supplies from my comic store dcbservice.com. They don't post bags/boards on the site but if you have an account with them (not Lunar Distribution), you can have them added to an order. I pay $15.00 for 100 for BCW standard thick bags and boards or $25 for 50 of the Mylites2/Full backs. $7.00 flat shipping charge.

Most supplies are backordered until August or September puppy dog eyes

I'd rather wait than overpay though.

Hi, image shown on this one is actually the Megacon version (which appears to be correct). That correct image (which is also an acetate cover) is below.

Bubble says Little Giant Exclusive but this was also a Shattered Comics Variant as well. The limit to 1000 was split between the two from what I can find online. I have the B cover but mine says Shattered Comics on the back and CGC lists it as the "Shattered Comics Sketch Edition" Plus the image we have for cover B shows 1.50 on the front cover but mine shows 9.99 on the front cover. So I don't know if they should be listed as separate variants or the same Whaaaaa?

Should I just add this as variant since I never got a response for this?

I think that may be your best bet.

If you click on the issue in question and go to my collection, it will show all the books in your collection and from there, you can delete a copy by clicking on the red x.

I've been collecting for 32 years and it all officially started with Batman Legends of the Dark Knight.

You probably already know but Comic Link has some Detective Comics below #77 closing tonight. I saw them and it reminded me of this thread and your run.

Thanks for the reminder. Out of both Batman and Detective, there was only 1 book I was missing and it's out of my reach.

I read the newsletter that Mile High Comics sends out and it helps give some insight into the industry. I just don't buy from them as their prices are more heavily inflated.

Determining "current" value of comics

Ebay is not a price guide but it is a market indicator. You are right, IMHO, about looking at closed auctions to see an average of what books are selling for.

Auctions like Heritage and Hakes are good gauges too.

It's weird you don't have that on your profile. Maybe it may be easier to delete it and then add it back in.
