It is what it is - a print mistake on one issue. See 1970's comics - it happened all the time that print was not square on the page and other printing error. "Double vision" printing was not uncommon.
If the error is significant, it kills the value the comic does have - collectors want it pristine. Personally - I would not want the copy you have - I want a nice one.

Hi,
I uploaded pictures of the white cover Virgin variants of Action Comics 1, Detective Comics 27 and Sensational Comics 1. These all appear to be Fan Expo convention variants (www.fanexpostore.com). Extra pictures attached below.
The Fan Expo store also has exclusive covers for Action 1 and Sensational Comics (Detective 27 has already been added).

So some has put this in as Batman #13F because the only difference is the cover. If the indicia says "DC comics Essentials #1" then I would say it needs to be its own title. Thoughts?
