If it's rare please send a good picture when you upload the book. That helps.

Unfortunately, we can't adjust the site to work for screen resolution issues for older computers. We currently check the site for mobile devices, ipads, and desktops with different modern sizes. Sorry man.

Draven, we've tested this with several accounts, it's working well. The value of your collection rises and falls with each change. (in less than 15 minutes) No, it wasn't part of the change. I personally did not change any X-men books but we have other people making price changes as well. When I look at the behind the scene data I see some increases in X-men books yesterday and some decreases as well. One book increased for certain grades and decreased for other grades.

I didn't make this major adjustment to this book but when I looked at current completed auctions on eBay, Heritage, etc. the numbers look correct. Sometimes books get hot because of speculation and then drop off in value after the rush is over. It's always important to say, we don't control the market only report on it.

Since there isn't consistency on our site about this I'm going to move those 6 titles to their own page. (like the rest of the True Believers Titles) Give me a few minutes to do this.

Ox, that's a good point, what is a low print run? Low print run + demand = price increase The price has definitely gone up so there is a demand.

Is the demand manufactured artificially or is the demand because of interesting art or story?

That's a great find especially if you have something good. Grading costs around $30 so my rule is to never grade anything below $50.

Guest, you have some great autographs. Autographs are tricky, unless they are verified by a third party they are just for you. I have a Wrightson autograph in one of my Swamp Thing books and it's valuable to me.

What was your first comic?

I read comics as a kid but didn't keep them. Pretty sure it would have been Casper or Richie Rich. Later, when I got back into comics I picked up a Batman comic issue 408. It was a great time to pick up Batman comics because Year 1 just finished and I was able to find them on the shelf, then 10 nights of the Beast then Death in the Family. It makes me smile just thinking about it.

Pthomas, love the Hulk 180 story. fun stuff.

There is a trend here. Most of the time someone introduced you to comics and then you were hooked. We need to be introducing people/kids to comics. If someone asks me about my collection I always have a stack of comics that I let them choose from. "Here, read one." I have some all-ages comics for kids who ask. Some of those people that I give comics to come back to me and say, "I'm hooked".

We put in hundreds of books each week, every week for decades. The thing is, it's never enough. We will never be "caught up" especially when one book can have 100 variants. So my advice to everyone is to be kind and patient. If you feel like you've waited too long send me an email and I'll get it done. (usually in a day or two depending on my schedule)

We have been working on admin tools to help improve speed but it's still a ridiculous number of books each week.

If you go into your collection
https://comicspriceguide.com/collection/

Then click on a specific publisher.
https://comicspriceguide.com/collection/dc

You will see that all of your titles are listed instead of just the titles under the letter "A". This should make it easier for you to find things. You can click on a specific letter if you have a bigger collection as well.

The second improvement is to the Top Titles, top issues, top graded titles, to graded issues areas. All of those now display your top 10 most valuable in each category. (up from 5) That is for each publisher so you can know your top 10 Marvel, DC, Image, Dell, etc books at a glance.

It's not a big change but hopefully, it makes someone happy.

The latest blog post
http://blog.comicspriceguide.com/2018/09/12/what-you-need-to-know-about-the-spider-verse/

If you compare the first appearances in this list to the value change page you can understand what's happening. Some of the really high priced items like 1st Spider Gwen and Spider Woman went down a little. Spider-Ham, Spider-Punk and Miles first appearances are hot. Anya and Noir haven't seen much increases. It's still interesting to watch the market adjust up and down. (mostly up related to the Spider-Verse)

What do you think is going to rise as the movie and Spider-Geddon approach?
