8/4/2025 Topic: Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes & Rivals collectibleshop	I just tried submitting the 616 trade dress and virgin Ivan Tao variants, and no idea if it took them. We used to get some kind of confirmation popup, but I didn't this time, and these kinds of subs don't show on the Verify page, so no idea if they'll get approved till they shows up with the series variants or not. Not sure what you mean by tripling your entry tho, I didn't get any tripling that I saw. But I submitted that cover too, and it's there, but my name is not on the contributor list. maybe Legend submitted it just before I did. edited by collectibleshop on 8/6/2025

8/12/2025 Topic: Missing GI Joe vs Cobra 2012 Convention Cover collectibleshop	I just submitted it as a missing variant, hopefully. Has no one told you how to do this, or does it not work for you? sometimes certain systems have problems. Normally It's faster if you submit it yourself, and CPG prefers that vs posting on the forum. Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. You must be logged in to do this. Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'. You should see a link with a little flag called "Report Missing Variant" on the right side under those tabs Clicking the link will bring up a page where you can upload the pic and enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, an image, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request. See this post for how to check on variants you've submitted: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=15583 and if you have to post about one, it's helpful to note cover artist, cover price if there is one, and month/year published, that saves everyone time. Lately the Missing Variant form doesn't verify the upload as successful, but it takes it. but the pic isn't showing to me when I check to see it on the #5 issue variants page, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/gi-joe-vs-cobra/5/ybqpos , and I get an error message when I click the update button-- "(Invalid length for a Base-64 char array or string.)", but the last one I submitted recently was added, so all you can do is try and hope. But submit these things first, wait a while and check the listing, before posting variants. sometimes you have to when the system doesn't work. edited by collectibleshop on 8/12/2025

I've posted multiple corrections about multiple issues in 1 post many times, and most of the time they all get corrected eventually. I assure you the admins prefer us to combine posts on similar topics or issue problems instead of doing separate ones, and your experience is not the normal one. not all admins can correct all things either, there's a hierarchy, so sometimes the 1st guy has to pass stuff off to a more senior admin who may be busier, or forget, or be out sick etc, so it can take time on some things. and it's a bit easier on us other helpers to only have to open 1 post instead of several. thanks.

Click the Variants tab, then the little flag that says Report Missing Variant, and you'll get a form to fill out. Lately the form isn't confirming the submission, and when you check it on the comic's listing afterward by clicking Variants and scroll down, you should see the submission pending. But it's not been showing the image there on the left side like it should, yet another bug. Keep checking that page to see when the variant has been added. this is how CPG prefers people to submit variants as opposed to posting about them. 8/17/2025 Topic: Missing Superman Special collectibleshop	finally found it: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/superman/1special/pkrrksq figured it was listed, but it's not indexed properly so it doesn't come up when using the Special option under Comic Type, nor does it come up using Superman Special under All types, as they have it as just Superman #1 even tho the URL has Special in it. The title is just Superman Special #1, the dinosaur part is just the story title so it doesn't count for searches. Specials are listed under the Special tab for the series they go with, so this is with the 2016 Superman series.
