7/19/2018 Topic: Hot Comics for Summer 2018 Ronbatman Administrator	I'm posting the latest hot comic list for this summer with several additions and deletions. What do you think we are missing? It might be necessary to explain "hot" since different people view the meaning differently. I mean that a book is selling especially well and that there is some surge or upward movement. 7/20/2018 Topic: Cataloging Endeavor - Best Solutions Ronbatman Administrator	I'm biased but Comics Price Guide is the best solution! You can put in all your books because we have over 1000000 in our database. Nobody has close to that many. We have the pricing to value your collection. And our system allows you to sell books to members of this site for free if you're a gold or silver member. We have people who make a living just selling off our site. You will only have to enter it one time to know the value or to sell it. Grading is tougher because there are so many variables. Just do your best and you'll be close. In the beginning what helped me most was to get a few books professionally graded and look at the grade versus what I thought. Read the grader notes and learn. I hope that helps, Ron

7/27/2018 Topic: Marketplace Transactions Ronbatman Administrator	First of all, I've bought several times from this site and been happy with the results. I had one time where someone never responded and that was frustrating. We are currently working on a plan to evaluate sellers to help with these issues. They will be judged on responsiveness (automated through our system) and shipping and accuracy. If they don't get back to people their score will be lowered. After a few times of unresponsiveness, they will be removed from selling. If you're listing books to sell we want you to sell them. If you're listing books and then ignoring people, go somewhere else. Overall, this is a complex issue because sometimes it's the seller who is unresponsive or dishonest and sometimes it's the buyer who is trying to scam or has unrealistic expectations. Our goal is to make a safe place where people can buy and sell with confidence.
7/27/2018 Topic: Favorite Artist Checklist? Ronbatman Administrator	Recently I've been creating blog posts related to artists; Ploog, Frank Frazetta, Joshua Middleton. In the next day or so there will be a checklist for Stanley Artgerm Lau. When I'm going through this process, there are always covers that aren't listed in our database. So by writing these articles the site is better and more complete. Plus all the collectors of certain artists get to see all their work, their development as artists and some amazing covers. From a selfish point of view, looking at some of this art just makes me happy. In an effort to give you what you want... Are there any cover artists that you would like to see a checklist for? Manapul? Dell' Otto? Bermejo? Jock? Mattina? Fabok? Or someone else? The ever helpful one, Ron
