Michael Turner's Fathom #1F 2021 cover

whilst verifying data, I see that this issue, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/michael-turners-fathom/1F/pitxcty has a sideways and unclear cover pic, dunno how that ever got approved. also has a long note I've never seen before: "Please see the forums for the correct method of uploaded and submitting cover scans for missing variants, then resubmit. Thank you." so guessing some admin did that accidentally at some point. so attached a good pic. and a member submitted Anna Zhuo as cover artist, but the only sigs are Turner's and Cabrera (spelling?) and the league doesn't list the cover artists for some reason, and comics.org doesn't even list the book near as I can find, and aspenstore's search engine returns way too many results to paw thru, so maybe someone with nothing to do can run that down or contact the submitter, MPDombeck , and see if they own it. edit: just noticed that 1D, 1E, 1G also have sideways pics and that notice. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/michael-turners-fathom/1F/pitxcty the league has all of them, so someone else can fetch and change them out. https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/comic/3316335/fathom-1 edited by collectibleshop on 4/15/2025 |

yeah, that's it, just a different color tone than the league's scan, but holofoils are notoriously hard to get accurate scans of. attached that one too, CPG can pic which they want. edited by collectibleshop on 4/15/2025 |

don't think it's rare at all. I didn't buy any at the time (over-hyped, over-printed), but saw unbagged ones at shows and recall off-center holos, which is a fairly common printing defect on the kind that's glued on the cover by machine. saw a couple CGC ones on google searches that appeared to be a little to the left and little to the right of center. didn't go in closer to see the grades. but since there's tons of centered copies, off-center would tend to fetch less $. |

Question on Paid vs Value
collectibleshop
|
Hi. when you add a comic to your collection here, you have the chance to put in what you paid for it, there's a field for that. You can add that later too, there's a edit icon that will open some fields below the comic's listing. But I don't think that info will download to somewhere else when you do that by publisher or single titles, but not sure, I've never done any of that stuff since I have so few comics left. So I don't know what, if any, value info they include in a collection download, but of course that would be old news very quickly. But if YOU didn't enter what you paid, how would CPG know? So some more 'splainin' needed. edited by collectibleshop on 4/16/2025 |

Hi, couple tips-- always paste a link to the CPG issue, it helps. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/ms-marvel/6/sktyb Check what you type, cuz you're talking about issue 6, not #3, so took me a google search to see it's #6 with Grotesk. All 3 of CPG's pics show a purple outfit on my monitor, as does every other database site and tons of pics on e**y except for 1 that has some printing toner or severe sun fade problem. so guessing whatever you're viewing them on is giving you false colors. CPG's 30 cent pic looks to have the contrast turned up or color saturation a bit high, but it's just brighter purple than the .35 one on my screen. edited by collectibleshop on 4/17/2025 |

thats what I wanted to do was to be able to download it and it show what I paid and value but thats fine thanks for the help so IF you entered what you paid for each book, someone else who has downloaded theirs by publisher and also already entered what they paid can answer what info downloads, or an admin can tell you when one pops in here. |

Zatanna #1 Midtown Comics Variant

I grabbed a pic off leagueofcomicsgeeks and submitted it using the Report Missing Variant link on the issue's page, which anyone can do when logged in. this is how, so you can do it in the future:
Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'. You should see a link with a little flag called "Report Missing Variant" on the right side under those tabs
Clicking the link will bring up a page where you can upload the pic and enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, an image, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request. now's ya know. edited by collectibleshop on 4/19/2025 |

I have about 4000 comic for sale here at CPG and will give discounts up to 30% on modern comics - not sure that would be enough for you but you can take a look and see if you find any of interest.
KDS as noted, Mcotuc is not a listed member anymore, and posted 4 years ago, so doubt he'll see your post. |

Looking for this issue - Dracula Book and Record s

well, the publisher is Power Records, so it should be here, but it's not: https://comicspriceguide.com/publishers/power-records comics.org: https://www.comics.org/series/16300/ : This set is produced by Power Records as part of a series of promotional superhero and monster records with a comic book included. The 7' inch 45 R.P.M. record has been especially designed so that the reader can read the story and follow the record word for word. mycomicshop says: Dracula stars in "Terror in the Snow!" Written by Marv Wolfman. Art by Gene Colan and Tom Palmer. This story originally appeared in Tomb of Dracula (1972-1979 1st Series) #19. It's fun to read as you hear! The ACTION comes alive! Includes a 24-page full color comic with 45 RPM record. 7-1/8 x 10 inches with cardstock cover and white non-gloss interior paper stock. Softcover (Saddle-Stitched/Stapled), 20 pages, full color. Cover price $1.49. so now you can maybe add it to the database if you have the permissions. edited by collectibleshop on 4/26/2025 |

right here under the 2000 Powers series trade paperback tab: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/powers/3trade_paperback/pcwshy Little Deaths is just the story title, not part of the series title, so just searching Powers and then the correct year and TPB tab gets you there, or use the trade paperback choice in the Comic Type dropdown menu. |

I think the Eternity one is a mistake. But Malibu owns/owned both Eternity and Adventure Comics, but the only Special Limited Edition I find is the Adventure Comics one. Comics.org has Malibu for the main publisher on the SE's page, but also says "Indicia / Colophon Publisher Adventure Comics", https://www.comics.org/issue/688020/ . so I think the Eternity one should be removed: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/evil-ernie-special-edition/1/plyvky and in the future, please post links to the comics, it helps save hunting time, thanks. |

Spooky Mysteries #1

apparently it's just not listed. comics.org says "Your Guide Publications, Inc. is not an actual division of Lev Gleason. It was a company owned by Arthur Bernard and Morris Latzen which published comics in 1939-1941, and in 1946, It published magazines from 1939 to 1951 (and possibly up to the 1960s). There is a current company with that name from 2007 - 2010+. Silver Streak Comics and Daredevil Comics were sold to New Friday in 1941, and later were sold to Lev Gleason." yet they list the 1941 Daredevil #1-3 under Lev Gleason too, but also under Your Guide Publications. odd. They say Spooky Mysteries was published 1946, but no indicia pic, so could be it was released in 1946 but printed in Dec 1945. Common to find discrepancies like that. an admin can add the Spooky one at some point. edited by collectibleshop on 4/29/2025 |

Values missing for different grades

Hi, usually no prices mean there's no sales in that grade to go by. maybe they changed that from using an algorithm like they used to do to guess the price, which was never accurate. PAYING members can suggest values changes like so, from a 2019 post: "Go to an issue like Batman 349 https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/batman/349/pjqrhp Then to the "values" tab Above the column of Graded values is a link to suggest a price change." that link doesn't show to me, but I'm a free member, so it may only show to paid members. this is the announcement thread, best to read that for the how-to details by Ronbatman: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=13726 edited by collectibleshop on 4/29/2025 |
