I always respected her by her sharing her life with mental health problems and fighting for those with mental health problems, like me. A great champion for many. On a lighter side my my son in law went to a recent comic con and got her to sign a book for him. Afterwards he asked if he could get a picture with her and she said sure. He put his arm around her shoulder for the picture and she did the same and during the picture she dropped her arm off his shoulder and pinched his ass! It made his day and still talks about getting groped by her. Wild to the end.... edited by Jokerbangedquinn on 12/27/2016 |

How do you sort your collection...

My organizing of books are pretty poor. I have tried a few ways of putting my books in order but in the end it is in need redoing all of them. I have some boxes strictly one series in a box, which works if the series only fits into one box. But most series don't fit into one box so then it overflows into another box but then filled by another series. Some boxes is done alphabetically. Some are just labeled as Indy books while some are just the big two, DC and Marvel books. Then there are boxes that are labeled by era's, silver, bronze, and modern books. Then the last two ways they are labeled only by "eBay buys", which later the books get put into the right box and a "fire box" which holds mostly key books that I definitely will get first in case of a fire. What works for me once may not work another time. I will admit not being organized is cool at times. I never know what is really in a box and have found some nice books I forgot I bought. With 65 boxes and growing, I'm not sure I will ever be fully organized. But I'm fine with that. edited by Jokerbangedquinn on 12/27/2016 |

Once again, my Buckeyes lost to a South Carolina team in a bowl game. I think three games to the Gamrcocks and twice lost to Clemson. Bad way to start a new year. I will say I wasn't surprised that Ohio State lost. Their offense looked bad most of the year and no doubt they were over rated. Hurts to say that....I'm picking Clemson to beat Alabama in the championship game. |

No doubt most watching were surprised by the stink Ohio State laid down. I blame it on the coaches. Urban is already cleaning out the offensive coaches with replacements. |

Detective comics 405 needs value change

Hi netstuffers, I think DETECTIVE COMICS #405 needs a change in values on price guide. Seems under valued compared to current sales. Below is the guides link to Detective Comics 405 and EBAY's completed sold auctions. As always thank you taking time to look over this.

Is there a market for comics graded 6.0-8.5?
quinnspuddinjoker
|
Sure, there are collectors that buy lower or mid range condition comics for various reasons. Could be what a buyer can afford for a certain book, seeing that a higher grade book are out of the buyers price range. Also depending what book it is or what age it was printed, like a golden age or silver age book, I as a collector can only afford a book in a very good to fine condition at times. A example is I like to collect Batman books. Books numbers between 100 to 150 can cost a good amount in those grades and also finding high grades for those books are really pricey for me, not to mention some old books it is harder to find mid to high grade books anyway. Now bronze or modern books most can find high grade books easily and shy away from low to mid grade books. But hey, as I said, even those age books some will still but low to mid range books. As always just need to find a buyer willing to buy from you. Anyway all posts all have good advice. As you said pricing books right to sell works well. |

To read it, you'll need to open it. If still in original baggy from the 90's, might be a good idea to re-bag in new board and bag. |

Nice. I've never seen these before. Are you selling or saving them? Me, I'd safe one of them, the cover I like most and sell the rest. Not sure value but CBCS could slab them for you and confirm that he did indeed sign it so buyers are assured he signed. |
