+1 the search seems to take some getting used to. It's finicky and easily overwhelmed by to many key words. Very cool Rudolph books though. |

No I have not. I'm not sure i have the resources or the time to do so though I would love to help.

So your question confused me a bit, so let me clarify.
Your CPG messages are currently less useful than you want, and you want it so when a member messages you, it automatically tells you which book they are inquiring about?
YES exactly! if I am the recipient of said message I would see the issue #, condition/grade, asking price, and possibly shipping cost.
Also on the old forums if I posted in a particular thread i could easily find them under my profile. I can't seem to recall every post and every thread so it's taking me a while to get around to my replys on the boards. edited by expander on 10/6/2016 |

The Dc Treasury books can be tricky as well.
try searching for "Famous First Editions" by typing "famous first" or "famous edition" into the search engine.
see: http://comicspriceguide.com/collection/dc/famous-first-edition-treasury-size/wkuy#_pricing
Also what I think you're after may be here: http://comicspriceguide.com/titles/superman-vs-muhammad-ali/thwsi
although this looks like it may be a newer reprint or the older one is correct but has the wrong date? The value seems to be correct and maybe the facsimile edition was 2010? no I just saw the deluxe edition bubble on the cover this is a newer and correct listing.
found by searching "vs superman" in the engine.
Also for some other dc treasury stuff:
http://comicspriceguide.com/titles/limited-collectors-edition-treasury-size/wkuv
Find "Limited Collectors Edition" by Searching "limited collector" in the search engine. |

Tonight I read the Valiant Faith 4 part mini series, read the 26th TPB for TWD.
Then I made my infamous Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake. Maybe I'll play a little PS1 later.....I'm thinking Raystorm. |

I got this on bluray for my birthday and enjoyed it for the most part.
Not sure how many of you watch youtube videos about movies but, there's a channel called "cinema sins" puts out some funny stuff, also great channels "How It Should Have Ended" (HISHE) and "Honest Trailers"
All I could think of the whole time I was watching the movie was: Emo hair nightcrawler "DING!"
Lets see if i can find it to link to....nope doesn't look like he's done one for X-Men:Apocalypse yet.

Is there any way you guys can add a barcode search to the software. I really like this software buy it really need the barcode feature. What do you guys think?
That would be awesome, like making it part of the app.... it'd be nice if there was an app... saw someone at an event with an app that was so much easier to navigate then trying to navigate this site on your phone AND the running ads even bogging now the phone running (and I have a Note 5!)
you can add/search comics by barcode on the clz app I have it on my phone. The first hundred books are free but it's totally worth the $14.99 to upgrade to the unlimited pack. (for me any way I have 10,000+books to add) Since i upgraded the app on my phone i can no longer see the other options but i recall a $4.99 upgrade to 500 books and I think there was a $7.99 upgrade to 1,000.
In reference to the topic at hand, it would be easier to do searches for books that have different titles on the cover than what is listed on the indicia.
Along similar lines while we're at it (cpg) might also add the use of i.s.b.n. search as well (Not sure of the dates involved with the incarnation of both but I think the isbn predates the barcode? also if you have a direct edition with no bar code the isbn would be a good alternate way to locate the book in the guide. |

Any word on changes to the message system?
More specifically is there a way to get updates on the process?
Getting anything back on the stages of whats going on will help.
I'm always interested in improving things, but I get antsy wondering if my suggestions are stuck at "the idea stage" not knowing if I can offer feedback along the way as a part of the process.
Lemme know if I can help. |

Holy crap! You can print out a list!!!!!! awesome! it's under the My Checklists on the right, in the tool bar. I feel like a dope LOL
It's still only by publisher though :/ edited by tabetha_m on 9/1/2016
You can make custom lists by adding issues to "my comic boxes" under the tool bar and print them out. The biggest problem with doing that is that they don't stay in any type of order at all numeric or alphabetical. |

I just finished Castlevania Symphony Of The Night. Great game. I don't think I have the heart to open the cellophane on my copy of Castlvania Chronicles though. Headed off to Sheetz for a Big Motz and some fried mac and cheese bites. Then maybe a little bit of Pro Pinball:Fantastic Journey. (really been hitting the PS1 trip hard lately, IDK why) |

Organizing with Boxes

The only downfall I've noticed with the virtual boxes is that they don't seem to retain and numeric or alphabetical order. I use both long and short boxes in my comic room.
However pulling up "my boxes" in the guide seems to randomly generate titles I've added in what ever random order the system spits back titles. It's almost never the same order. |

That's always good. I've always had trouble following multiple conversation strings because there was no way to see what you sent out.
Namely when quoting some one a price and then telling them a different price when you're thinking of someone else.
At one point I was just diverting every possible sale to the forums and or my own email just to keep track of what was going on ( this was about 6 or 7 years ago)
I've taken to writing down sales info these days but it'd be nice if we had a sent folder too.
Hope I'm not coming across as demanding just offering up things that I think would be helpful (albeit a probable coding nightmare) |

Little of both. I'm in between jobs right now so I'm going a little stir crazy around the house. Catching up on a lot of comic reading though.
I'm also in the process of starting up a sales page on bonanza. Just trying to get a hold of a reliable camera to take those oh so important pics!
I'd use my scanner but that took a dump on me earlier this summer. |

Is it just me or is anyone else pissed at Marvel??

I've been P.o.'d at them for years I can understand a reboot every10 or 20 years for certain stale titles but, not EVERY SINGLE FREAKING ONE!
And the variant craze is zanier than EVER 30+ different covers for Spider-Man really?
What's worse is the farther the cover price goes away from the old double digit prices the higher the secondary market prices go for golden and silver books and I'm even seeing ridiculous spikes in bronze age dollar bin fodder.
All that being said I do hold dear my favorite characters from my childhood days and I think Marvel knows it, they know the die hard fans want every #1 and every variant and they'll put deadpool on a Heathcliff Reboot just to prove it.
Wait!, did he say Star comics Heathcliff #1 Deadpool variant?
-Yes he did.
When does it come out??????
