Nice collection, I like the cover of #8 the most. Wouldn't mind reading the "Floating Head" story.

I'm always interested in any EC's, but I'm cheap and don't buy them often.

I picked these up a few years ago:

Animal Fables #1

Land of the Lost #1

Defiant1

I have a checklist and gallery of EC comics. The scans are not comics I own:

Hey Defiant, nice early EC books. Land of the Lost is an okay read; much better than the radio show it's based on. smile

I've watched the cartoon. It's strange. I think I downloaded the radio shows, but I never got very far into one. I recall listening to some old radio shows that inspired EC's old witch character.

I've learned that the quickest way for me to lose interest in owning a Silver age set of my favorite characters is to get their first appearance. I'm not a high grade collector, so just having a solid copy is enough for me.

It stops high end dealers from snubbing their noses at me. Wiggle
The cash out of pocket for the AF #15 was only about $300. I bought Valiant comics in the 90's around the time they came out and traded my duplicates. The dealer who did the trade made money too.

Well played, sir Thumbs Up

That would make it hard to pay today's prices for later issues. Nobody wants a 1st Punisher for more than they paid for 1st Spidey. smile

Exactly! When I see Hulk #181 going for large sums, I just remember paying cover price. There is not a lot of incentive for me to buy 70's & up comics at expensive prices now when I've been passing them over this long at a much lower price. I'm more interested in rarities or things I've never seen before.

Something different.

Diamond Limited Trade Paperbacks + one from capital

Since I like obscure comics and things that are hard to find, these qualify. They are individual comics that Diamond bound into a Trade Paperback. Dark Horse published some trades with the same name for Terminator, but these are the ones Diamond bound from individual comics.

Dracula

Spiderman Torment

Vampirella

This is the back cover of vampirella...

Terminator: Endgame

Robocop vs. Terminator (The easiest to find + some may have been bound without inserts. All mine are the same)

Terminator: Hunters and Killers

UNITY Book 2 (I do not own #1, but I had 5 of these at one point before selling some for 800% or more mark-up over what i paid)

Youngblood - you almost have to spin this one in circles to read it because one of the issues was printed sideways originally.

Cyberrad Compilation Book

Capital produced one also

Spawn Capital Collection

There is a John Byrne 2112 hardcover (I think) that I do not own.
I think that's all I own. I have multiples on some. I was going for 2 sets.

There are plenty of rarities; they make having a wantlist or complete set pretty confusing.

That Vampirella looks like a C. Vess cover. Didn't know he did one of her.
Nice to see some odd stuff! I too like the obscure books.

I miss your master collection Robbie. Not many have what you got.
I have zippo to show Lol. Just getting some new stuff.
Will be a little while before i start up the back issue collecting again, Wait till i get some bills paid off & then i hope to start up again.

I think i'll start to review my new books here again soon, Just easier for me.

Like to see Tex's Blog on the new forum, There going to improve it very soon.
I have actually come across a few younger people wanting to know all about comics & collecting (they ask the noobiest questions Lol).
Very warm here & seen some epic thunderstorms. We got 60 mm 21/4" in one arvo 2 weeks ago. knocked about 5 massive trees down around town. Love a good storm Lol.

Star Wars Rouge One was great, Going back to see it on Saturday for my B'Day (i'm the same age as the meaning of life & everything is...).

Especially when they are printer samples that never never had a full print run.
