Lots of nice looking sketchbooks. I take it you have a signature from Adams also?

Does his signature below a sketch of my girlfriend count?

It was a rather unusual request, but I took an 8½" X 11" cropped printout of a modeling shot of my girlfriend face. I made it as easy as possible for him (no scaling up or down required, no backgrounds interfering). His son's eyes popped out and he talked his dad into doing it. She liked it even though she didn't know who he was. Some women online said that's romantic (awwww!) and I treasure it far more than I would a sketch of Batman or Superman. I was able to negotiate a sightly lower price by comparing my request to some other sketch price offers he had in his package deal with his other products.
Dragon Con 2010 is the only time I've ever met him. I have exchanged emails with him and bought comics through Continuity dealing with his son directly by email.

The only reason I went to Dragon Con that year was to try and get a sketch from him. His prices aren't cheap, but you are getting art from one of the legends in the industry. He may charge for just his signature. I don't remember. That's been a big trend at shows the past 20 years.

One of the Continuity variants I bought in the past also came with Crazyman #1 (Vol. 1) Signed w/COA from Catch A Star Collectibles, Inc.
Here is a little combo image of the comic with the COA.

I remember most of those Adams pieces. The 2007 book is sporting a wicked Tarzan cover.

Bill Sienkiewicz was also willing to draw her for me at a show and he seemed to be a little perked up at the request. Unfortunately, providing a photo reference required me to leave the show and I was unable to make it back. It was going to be 50 miles of driving to get a photo and go back.
She doesn't like crowds or strangers trying to talk to her. She's an artist who paints and draws and she will read comics, but that's not enough to get her to go to a comic show.

I like the coloring from Continuity and I think that helps the Tarzan cover jump out even more.
I have most of the Continuity Studios sketchbooks unless he's released some new ones. I'm missing a Chicago Convention Exclusive.... http://comicchecklist.hol.es/Continuity/Sketchbook/Continuity_Sketchbook.html
