Nice copy of FF #1. Wish I had one.

Trump book - is this really necessary? The man's ego is big enough in my opinion. (Also - don't be a hater - be a cooperator! - IMHO)

I will have to look into postimage.org. Since Photobucket has taken the "mo' money!" approach.

I'm not a fan of Trump, but I bought the publication because I collect Treasury sized comics. In this case it's more of a gallery of parody covers.
Postimg might refer people back to their site with risque ads. It originally allowed adult images, but this is supposed to be their family-safe image hosting site.
They seemed to have grown quickly and reliability hasn't been as good with the additional growth.

I replaced some old photobucket images with postimg hosting & pixelfed hosting. We'll see if those stay visible longer than the others.

A week or so ago, I stopped into a local comic shop while I was waiting for new tires at a shop nearby.
I saw an old EC comic on the wall. The color palette was off and the
width on it was that of a more modern comic. I thought that was odd, so I
look at it more closely and realized it must be a Canadian reprint from
the 50's. I asked the shop to let me see the indicia and it was indeed a
Superior comics reprint from the 1950's. I've been wanting one for
years since I've been scouring the web looking for scans to complete my
cover gallery. I shelled out the high price. It's got color fading in
one corner. It's got a tear on the cover, and it's either the worst
miscut I've ever owned or it was trimmed decades ago. I didn't analyze
the edge too closely, because I didn't care. These are rare!

Weird Fantasy #14 (Superior Comics)

Unfortunately, the cut is so bad and the
defects are too bad for me to use the scan on my cover gallery. Still,
I'm glad to own one. Did I say these are rare? LOL! I haven't scanned
the indicia yet. I plan to do so.

My index of what might exist is here:

Here is a scan of the indicia to Weird Fantasy #14 published by Superior comics in Canada.

Someone can add it to the GCD site if they are a contributor. I'm not.

I see what you mean about the colors on the cover. It particularly looks as though they ran the black plate before the magenta (at the least), leading to obvious hue changes between the black in different areas. (Some places it's a "blue-black" others it is a "ruddy-black", others it is just "black".)

I had collected some scans for my cover gallery that I wasn't using because I felt the colors had to be wrong. I also had some that were terribly mis-cut. After buying this, I decided that the colors were probably accurate and that mis-cuts are probably normal. I went ahead and posted them on my gallery page. These are probably the 2nd worst printing quality I've ever seen from a publisher. The only company worse was Charlton who used a printing press made to print cereal boxes.

Charlton is something I miss. It added variety to
the spinner racks. When you spun past the hot rod comics and the romance
comics to find that Marvel Comic you wanted, you knew you were making the right
choice.

It was interesting to see the variety.
I am collecting their adult humor comics which I never saw for sale in a store anywhere when they were still publishing them.

Those old Journey into Mystery issues are difficult to find in that condition. Usually, they are beaten up.
Good finds,

I'm happy with VG or better. My main focus is Tales to Astonish, but I've switched over to Journey Into Mystery because the local show is running dry on Tales to Astonish.

I scanned some of my early X-Men comics and damaged my #9 in the

I was horrified at first until I realized I only paid $8 for
#9.

Canadian reprint

YOu posted about these Canadian printings of EC titles four titles, and your last post was in 2022, so I don't know if this is still a thing for you or if you're here to see my message, but there are about twn of those Canadian "EC"s on ebay right now, most of them hovering around 20.00 bids.

Interesting to see old characters still in play and how some have changed. After I read Groot's origins it made it difficult to see him in his modern portrayals.
