Slab was a member of the Nasty Boys and later helped the Mutant Liberation Front alongside his sister Thumbelina.
He retained his mutant powers after the events of M-Day and, together with Gorgeous George and Hairbag, opened a lab for Mutant Growth Hormone production.
He later joined the mutant-only nation of Krakoa, and later became a member of S.W.O.R.D.'s security division.
