The leader of Hardliners, Tork, relished in his role as a punisher of superhumans. He didn't know he was actually the pawn of the Master in the criminal's plans to re-make the world. Tork had a trouble childhood, constantly feeling he had to improve himself. Tork held Feedback as a hostage against Alpha Flight, while making them face the Hardliners' training facility.
