The Examiner was a robot built by the Sligs to test the power of the West Coast Avengers. After capturing them, the Sligs were sent to an alien dimension and they were tested one by one by the Examiner. After each defeat, he was rebuilt to adapt against his previous foe. The Sligs' energy source was strained but they assumed the Examiner would easily defeat, Moon Knight. However, he used Khonshu to draw power from the thousands of moons in their dimension. Moon Knight tore the Examiner to shreds and overloaded the ship's batteries causing it to explode, the data the Examiner collected became muddled and combined all the Avenger's powers into one being which scared away the Sligs. -Marvel Fandom
