Eric, along with his identical brothers Sven and Harlan Kleinstock, was recruited by Magneto to join his second wave of Acolytes. The triplets attacked Our Mother of the Sacred Heart School in search of a latent mutant, but met opposition by Sharon Friedlander and Tom Corsi. During the attack, Corsi killed Eric with a shotgun.
