The Defiler was a Demon who came to Earth in the guise of a rock star. With his band, Corruption of Innocence, the Defiler abducted fans into his home dimension where the realm would feed off of the victims, increasing the Defiler's power. He was defeated and possibly destroyed by being thrown into the portal which drained his victims of his energy.
