Colby Shaw knew the former CIA operative named Emmett Proudhawk and was recruited by him to take care of five teenagers that he had selected to become the members of Psi-Force. Colby agreed to house the teens in her halfway house for run away teenagers called Sanctuary. Colby was caught in the explosion of Sanctuary created by Soviet paranormal agent Rodstvow and later confirmed dead by her ex-husband. -MF
