Cannonball was among the X-Force squad to support Arize's cause, along Cable, Siryn, Shatterstar, James Proudstar and Cyberlock, deposing Mojo V and letting Shatterstar take the lead of Mojoworld.
He later became the leader of the X-Force armed group who relocated into the fortified X-Mansion.
