Delroy Garrett, Jr., is a former Olympic athlete turned superhero known as Triathlon and later adopted the title 3-D Man. His journey as an athlete took a drastic turn when he tested positive for steroids, resulting in the loss of his Olympic medals. Struggling with despair, he found solace in the teachings of the Triune Understanding, a religious group led by Jonathan Tremont. Under Tremonts guidance, Delroy gained powers akin to those of the original 3-D Man, which he attributed to his spiritual growth. However, his association with the Triune Understanding initially led him into conflict with the Avengers, before becoming a member himself.
