The cover scan in the database is very pink, my comic is purple as are every version I found online, I cannot ascertain if there is a variant, or second printing of this comic that would be pink. Perhaps you could look into this please.

No, there was only one printing and no variants. I imagine the discoloration is due to the printing process. Possible the ink well was beginning to run low.
