Here a story true yes strange yes.
when I had move back to Florida in 2007 my skill set was not what the state was looking for at the time
general labor ( tent crew for a circus) and I took a several jobs as a helper for a nurseing home down the road from me
I did odd jobs on the side.
one day a get a phone call from a old lady in my area whos husband is at the nursing home and she ask if I could do some work for her which I did.
after the work was done she paid me $50 and 300 comic books that her son had left there when he left home .
some where ok superman ,g i joe, and the norm BUT there was this collection of comics that some where easy to find but others are so far underground that it boggles the imagination. there are no listing of them any where and when i talk to the local comic shop about them they just look at me.
how dose one go about listing them when no one knows about them?
do they have vaule or just pulp paper?

let me what you think

That is really a nice payment of comics! Sure those have value. There is a price guide called FOGEL'S UNDERGROUND COMIX PRICE GUIDE. Here is a nice link for you to find that book. Not sure if this is the most current guide for underground books but this will get in the right direction. Also some should be listed on this very site for values.

That really is a nice way to get paid.
I would like to find some place to get mine assessed. I have about 500 with dates going back to the 60's and 70's.
I see there is a new price guide but is it the "approved" price guide at this time?

Great forum. I have lots of questions and maybe a few answers.
