my collection is 1978-1982 ish.
all my books are flat, however they are musty and the newsprint is not white anymore.
what grade would this be ?

You will have to grade on a book by book basis taking into account page colour and the smell but there are many other defects that you will also have to account for. I believe this site has a basic grading guide you can use.
