As far as I know, users do not post real "value" of comic issues.
The "value" of the comics in CPG are to be used as a guide only and will fluctuate.

Recommend you read the following thread... http://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic6038-out-of-date-prices-on-the-guide.aspx for information relating to out of date prices.

Thank-you for your patience.

Ahhh! Groot reprint.

Technically, he just asked where to post about real values in comics and got a somewhat defensive response back that didn't answer his question.
I've got a comic that was priced something like $5 in a guide and one retailer sold a copy for $1200. That doesn't mean you might not get lucky and find a copy for $5, but anyone who actually knew what it was and wanted it would easily drop $100 or more for a copy.

I thunk 'discussion' of price spreads is a good thing whether it justifies a change in the guide or not.

I was actually rummaging through the Mystic series at the GCD and noticed that some comics like Tales of Suspense #1 was reprinted at least three times. Many issues were reprinted multiple times because when the company sold, the new owner just reused the old printing plates over and over.

I saw the Groot cover, but I can't remember or not if it had been reprinted multiple times by this publisher.
