if they are older ones from the 80's or earlier then there would be some interest just because of what could be in them. not sure on value though doubt it would be real high unless the issues that you know are in the pack have value.

There is interest in the comics but mostly from late 1980. I don't know about the unopened packs. I know some people collect these but I don't know what kind of prices they pay. I doubt it is as much as some of the single issues might realize

Thank you so much for the info. I looked at a few and I don't think I have any rare ones. Where would be the best place to get rid of them. I would love to sell them all but I don't know if anybody would be interested.

You could try selling the packs on eBay. There are also several pages on Facebook that you could try selling them.

The whitman 3 packs of interest tend to be from the early 80s. There where a few months in which some whitman comics were believed to have only been published in 3 packs making them much scarcer. They had a huge spike in value around a decade ago. After that I believe more of them started to hit ebay and the market so Ibelieve they are not as rare as originally thought. They have value, the demand is slightly higher then the more common books but I think the overall interest is not very high

knparzival is absolutly correct. I have ran into them. They were sold in low end drug stores like Woolworths or McCrory and some department stores. (Think "Dollar General"). Other companies also put together three packs and five packs in the 1980's. Issue can be condition. Also they usually bag stuff that did not sell in comic stores and sold at a discount. Could be some good stuff, but also a lot of minimal value comics. Depends on what is in there. I have seen them at flea markets and the like. I have seldom seen them take care of well. If they were bought by collector he would have opened the pack and bag and boarded them- as noted above that the pack was common.
Check eBay - many common comics like Walt Disney, Bugs Bunny and Chip 'n Dale are in these packs. This stuff is worth $1 to $3 each depending on condition. I saw $9.99 for a three pack. Are these people kidding?
In my opinion - Only the comics have value. The Whitman three pack itself is worthless. Apparently there are a few that have value - so everyone thinks theirs has value. Check it out first! Just my opinion.
