We can rebuild it, we have the technology.
We are working on a new data grid for the site. The technology isn't as important as the goal. The end goal is to speed up the site and allow you to search faster. In my tests, it was significantly faster approximately 2x to 3x faster. If you would like to see and work on it here is the link.

This is a live version of the website so if you change something in your collection it's really happening. You will be affecting your collection on the regular site and the beta site. The two versions are linked together so be careful. Please let us know if you encounter any issues/problems. We want to fix everything and test everything thoroughly before launching it to the public.

I don't know if this is the issue or not but it's worth a try. The beta site will not work on your phone IF you are using data. It will work on the website and on your phone if you are using a wi-fi. Weird but true.

not using a phone, using a windows desktop. tried in older and newer (but not latest) firefox. have no other browser to try. I think I have it set not to time out for a minute. disabled adblock too. no joy.

I'm getting a timed out error too.
Windows 10 desktop with solid network connection (Spectrum - 127mbps down / 444mbps up)
Tried on Edge, Chrome and Firefox.

Thank you both. We will look into this today and see if we can figure it out. Internally we have logged in as admins, paying members and free members and had no issues. This is why we start with a small sampling first.

We have discerned the issue. The company that manages our servers had only white listed our IP address for the Beta site. They are resetting their servers tonight so all of you should be able to see it tomorrow sometime.

looks great so far.
The only thing I have ran into is when using the back button on the browser it gets stuck with the circle wheel of death but if you use the search, it goes fine.
looks extra crisp as well on 4k tv and more defined.

Hey there, speedy speedy! I did notice in the Verifications parts of the site, on all but the Creators page, the identifier for what book you are verifying is not visible. Also, when you first enter a tab, the Letter of the title you first fall into is not highlighted with the circle. It isn't until you actively click on a letter that the highlights appear. Now, we know that the letter furthest to the left will always be what you are on, however, if you are using something like Dark Reader/Mode, it isn't very apparent since all letters display in Dark Mode.
You want this deeper test, yes?

Bryan is reading all of these posts and working on fixes. Most things will be exactly the same but they should function much faster. I'm running both versions of the site at the same time and checking speed.

Hey there. When reconciling the Missing Creators list, when you click the Add button, the entry does add to the database but also remains on the list. I was only able to remove it from the list by going to the regular site and clicking the Delete option on the entry.
