I know that this is important to collectors of modern variants. We have two people working on cutting the number of submitted variants on the site. They have approved or deleted duplicates for about 300 issues in the last 2 weeks. Hopefully, by the start of April, we can be down to zero variants in our system for a day or two. 
In the last two weeks, staff and admins have added 1803 comics to our database! Some were new books and some were missing variants.
When you submit a variant please provide a good scan that isn't a preproduction scan. Any information about the issue saves us time looking for the store or the ratio or the cost. As always, this is a group task so thanks to everyone who helps.

I agree with the "provide a good scan". That was the single biggest problem I had when I was entering them. Very painful at times.

preproduction scans
if you do not have the book then do not add it someone with it will. I have come across a lot of preproduction scans lately
