Now that Black Adam is streaming, I'm sure a few more of us have seen it. What did everyone think?
Personally, I thought it was okay. It was well produced, and the pacing was fine. The story itself was just a little meh. Admittedly I don't know a whole lot about the character. I picked up the facsimile of his first appearance when that came out not too long ago. I was a little surprised that it was his first appearance, origin and death all in one issue. Obviously he was brought back, but it was still. Very strange print history.
I can say I was not impressed with Atom Smasher. He felt a bit like a mashup of Ant Man and Deadpool. Maybe if I had been exposed to that character first it would feel the other way around. But now? It feels like DC is just trying to cash in on the popularity of those two characters from their primary rival.

I watched it last night. I liked it.
I'm a fan of black Adam, and a huge fan of Dr. Fate, I dug the portrayals of them. The story was a bit cookie cutter, but in general it was all good.
