Just dropping a thread here for some folks to upload more info on variant or issue submissions that need clarification and messaging isnt doing it.

I've tried to attach images three different times and it keeps giving me an error message. I'll try one more time, but if not, I'll go back to the "missing variant" submit button on the actual issue. Sorry for any trouble. Not sure why it's not attaching.

Reduced the file size. Hoping it works.
Also, the date listed on this site is incorrect. It's from Jan 1987, not 1977. Just noticed that. Sorry for the duplication of effort!

I fixed the West Coast Avengers Annual #2 Date. Now just need the cover to see what you have there.

There are a couple of things that could cause this.
1. Type - Needs to be .jpg .png or .gif
2. Size - 5MB max limit
3. Dimensions - Less than 1.2k

Check those things and let me know. Our system is accepting scans daily so it's isn't related to a programming issue.

@ Ewfthompson can you try to attach the cover scan to this thread again? Unless you have a Mac, dont use the Quick Reply to add the scan. Just below the reply box (to the left of the green “Quick Reply” is smaller text to click for full attachment functionality.
Thanks!

not to rain on the parade, but the pics aren't up to CPG standards, need to be squared up and cropped. odd that the Cap Am UPC box version isn't very findable. GCD, e***, MCS (who incorrectly has it under Avengers West Coast), the site who shall not be named, the vine etc., haven't turned it up yet.

That’s ok, I just needed to see this book. I cant find it on this or any site. The newsstand and literacy campaign are all over the place, but I cant find one with the captain america in the UPC box (typical direct edition). Thanks to whoever added it to the variant submission.

@Draven68.. if you can upload the Lady Death cover here, that would be great. I can only find the Naughty Edition from Sabine Rich for Exstinction Express, but that is not limited to 10 copies. So pretty psyched to see it to make sure it isnt the naughty Edition.

Just wanting to follow up here. I'm the one who has uploaded this variant that no one seems to be able to find. I'll try to upload a better quality image. If anyone else has advice, I welcome it. Otherwise, can someone tell me what I need to do to get this variant shown here so I can tick it in my collection?
Casper has been incredibly patient with me, so my thanks. I apologize for any problems I'm creating, but also kinda hoping that this is an unusual or undocumented variant from my childhood collecting days. I've been trying to add corrections to over comic on the site as well. I like the community on this site--chose it rather deliberately.
Best,
RCT

if you haven't seen it or been told yet, this is the pic guidelines, although a bit old: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic5-guidelines-for-uploading-cover-scans-to-cpg.aspx

something around 500-600px high is fine. scans are preferred (any friends or work have scanners?), but these days good phones can take good pics, but harder to get them nice and square for cropping. there's a bunch of free photo-editing sites you can find if you need them or you don't have a computer with one built-in or added to it.

so once you get a good pic and submit it using the 'report missing variant' feature, bookmark the page, and wait for it to be approved, or keep checking this thread for the notice, which they may or may not do, but casper and gilgandra are pretty good about that.
