Just picked up Amazing Spider-Man #50 the pence variant in anticipation of Kingpin returning to the MCU and noticed the price guide does not list pence variants the same as it does Canadian price variants. Having researched the pence variants before making this purchase and reading the excellent analysis done here at Rare Comics
It is clear that the pence issues of these books are indeed Marvel produced comic books printed in the USA, not an "alternate publisher variant" as this book is currently listed at comicspriceguide. These issues were printed on the same printers used for the dollar versions, only substituting the plates to indicate pence for UK distribution. These books allegedly were printed BEFORE the dollar issues were made in an effort to get them shipped overseas to arrive on time, making them true first prints in every sense. Please list these books similarly to the Canadian Price Variants already in the price guide so that they will show up in the USA list for easy reference!
