Another book with super powered kids. I'm almost over it at this point. At least it isn't a school in this one. Just a bunch of mutant kids who haven't gone to Krakoa yet. All of them have names that are similar to the adult with the same powers. Daycrawler vs Nightcrawler. Gimmick vs Gambit. Even the outfits are similar.
The reveal at the end is interesting, but not enough for me to pick up book 2.

I agree to some degree. This was so much better that Teen Titan Academy. That was hard to get through. Def don't need issue 2 of that.

It sells though in hopes that it's going to be another Strange Academy lol. The Children of Atom is just plain laziness with the characters. My jaw dropped when I originally saw the preview for it like "This, this right here is what your team came up with?" That whole team should be fired for this garbage lol.
