Every now and then I've been coming across value changes where one price goes up (direct or newsstand) while the other remains the same.
For example: Uncanny X-Men #191
Direct 9.4 went up to $14 where the Newsstand remained $5.
My guess is both should be valued close to $14 since they both are considered the 1st appearance of Nimrod instead of one go up while the other remains the same.

Scott, sometimes one does go up and the other doesn't but in this case, you are correct. R

Whether evidence supports it or not, newsstand versions will typically command a higher price. There a smaller more dedicated group of collectors who are searching for them. They come up for sale less frequently, and they are often lower grade when they do come up for sale. Unfortunately, sales data is more difficult to track because it is less frequent.
