Batman 14-713 Vol2 1-52 Vol3 1-Current (844 issues)

I keep buying the latest issues because I have a feeling they will revert back to the original numbering system as they approach #1000.

If they stop and restart again, that may drive me out of new comics but there are still so many golden age books I need.

I will make you a friendly bet that they revert back as they approach 1000. I think they are only at about 860 right now so it will still be a few years.

Boy those Golden Age Batmans are getting so expensive. I haven't bought one for a year because a low grade will cost me a grand by the time I pay shipping, import, and exchange to Canada.

Here's one I have my eye on but I can't afford a big buy right now. It'll probably end up around $400 US.

I was a little off... it sold for $521. So this raw golden age Batman #6 that would grade .5 or 1.0 at best sold for $521 but on CPG it is valued at $200 in .5 and $300 in 1.0. I feel like there needs to be an adjustment made across the board to golden age low grade books. Also, I feel there should be a coverless (.3) option for the grade. Furthermore, I have a graded page from Batman 1 that I can't enter in the database even though it cost me $300 USD.

I've asked that for some time. Spawn seems to be getting love right now so hopefully the Bat will soon.

My longest run is Fantastic Four 1-300, including the '70s price variants and other oddities from that run.

We have a change between second and third place. These two are going to be fighting it out unless someone plops down some serious cash for Batman 13 or the ASM issues below 47.

My oldest continuous run only stretches back to the late 70s.

My longest continuous run for one title in my collection is Amazing Spider #181 to current (vol.1 181-441, 500-700.5, 789-801; vol.2 1-58; vol. 3 1-20.1; vol. 4 1-32; vol. 5 1-49) about 669 issues (includes #-1, #.1s, and #.HUs).

My longest run in the same volume excluding relaunches is Uncanny X-Men #129 - #544 about 416 issues (includes #-1).

My longest run not from the Big Two is Spawn #1 - #189 a total of 189 issues (stopped for awhile and then started back again at issue #246).

These are some seriously impressive runs! I mostly just picked up books that caught my attention.
I mean, the longest run I have is Gen 13 30 issues (Mini-Series issue 0 to vol. 1 issue 23). I'm missing 0.5 from the mini-series and 0 from vol. 1, but they were after-the-fact releases so I don't really count them. I'm missing four issues to push it out to 43.

I have X-Men # 1-350 with some duplicates including two #1's.

I sound like a broken record, but I lost interest in owning runs after acquiring Amazing Fantasy #15. I started wanting more keys and less of the common issues. I own too many comics as it is.

This post inspired / motivated me to pick up those four missing issues to plug the gaps.
I now have the mini-series, 1-36.
That puts me to 43 issues.
