I'd like to borrow some of Ruk's List here and create a list of your best run. We could update it as needed. Only 1 run per person.

RonBatman - Batman 472 issues (191-663) Need 7 issues to extend the run to 713

Play along,
Ron

Basement - I am not worthy

Batman 14-713 Vol2 1-52 Vol3 1-Current (844 issues)

I keep buying the latest issues because I have a feeling they will revert back to the original numbering system as they approach #1000.

If they stop and restart again, that may drive me out of new comics but there are still so many golden age books I need.

I will make you a friendly bet that they revert back as they approach 1000. I think they are only at about 860 right now so it will still be a few years.

Boy those Golden Age Batmans are getting so expensive. I haven't bought one for a year because a low grade will cost me a grand by the time I pay shipping, import, and exchange to Canada.

Here's one I have my eye on but I can't afford a big buy right now. It'll probably end up around $400 US.

Dear Rusty
I am seeing the same problem bringing in a comic to Canada
The price goes up astronomically when you cross the border.
I have not bought in US lately unless the price is absurdly low-which occurs infrequently.
In the past -I never experienced that problem.

How could I ignore the one and only Ruk? You didn't give me a start and end number so I couldn't add you. Now you have, so our list includes you.

Honestly, all 4 of you have incredible runs. It takes dedication to a goal to reach these numbers or these difficult to find Golden Age books. Bravo.

Good luck Ruk I hope you do it.

It is sad that so many collectors only chase keys and don't feel the completionist bug. It is funny because many of the key issues I have in my collection today, I have because I was simply trying to complete a run and then they got hot later on.

Wow, you guys put the rest of us to shame. The longest continual run of a title is Spectacular Spider-Man #1-263. Got some work cut out for me to catch up with these other runs.

If we are going over multiple volumes then it would be Batman at 439 issues from vol.1 #424 to the current vol. 3 at #98.
