Why have spawn comics suddenly shot up? Can anyone tell me

1. It is a very successful original independent title.
2. Todd McFarlane is a very collectible artist.
3. There are a lot of low print issues.
4. There is a movie in development with Jamie Foxx.
5. There are a lot homage covers of classic books.

Should also be noted that they are not all necessarily 'suddenly' shooting up. A lot of the low print run comics from Spawn have been high for some time, and they are now getting updated in the database.
