Hi there folks, I have a rather large collection I am looking to sell. Would like to sell all at once, maybe in an auction. A few thousand issues. Can anyone recommend an auction house that has a good reputation for handling something like this? Thanks for any help.

It depends entirely on what issues, what era's, what titles and what conditions the books are in I'd say. If they are golden age, early silver age, key issues or significantly high grade comics, Heritage Auctions would potentially be the way forward, if you live in America at least. I don't recommend an auction house that doesn't specialise in comics, I got absolute bargains from those when buying. Other than that, maybe either sell things on ebay or to a local comic shop, ebay would probably be preferable as you have a wider reach and don't need to take the shop owners profits into account when selling, although with that option you would need to know which comics to sell separately, which comics to bung in job lots, and it'd be better to have an idea of what sort of grade/condition the books are in whilst listing them.
