Hi all. Newbie here! A question for the community: why is it that Saga of the Swamp Thing #37 is priced higher than #38, given that Constantine's appearance in #37 is just a cameo and #38 is actually his first full appearance?

I too get confused on why some characters 'First Full appearances' are more valuable then the 'First Cameo appearances'. Not sure who creates this value? Perhaps the comic book stores and online stores seeing an increase of that comic book purchases? Then sharing that knowledge to comic book companies that state values of comics? Or simply because an average price of selling on EBAY creates the value?
