Hello, I've noticed that on CGC graded comics, the color status (ie "White Pages" or "White to Off White pages"...) is sometimes underneath the numeric grade on the left hand side sticker... and sometimes its in the center under the comic title. Is there any reason for this? Did they just update the "Template" at some point and that's why I'm seeing these variations? Thanks!

White and Off-White are terms that describe interior comic book pages as they relate to condition. See https://www.nostomania.com/servlets/com.nostomania.CatPage?name=ComicsGradingMain for grading guide with examples.
If you are really into it - 30 terms that describe the whiteness of the page are listed here http://www.bipcomics.com/showcase/CGCWhiteness/ Yowzers!

It's my understanding that it was just a template change and doesn't change anything related to the condition or signal anything else. Ron

It was simply a redesign of the label and slab a couple years ago. So just old vs new labels. They do label design changes now and then, so there's been at least 3 now. No big deal on that part, but the newer cases have their pluses and minuses, which there are tons of threads about on multiple forums.
This page on their site may help you further with the newest label variations: https://www.cgccomics.com/labels/
