I've got a few of these. some of the reprint covers are walmart exclusive. there's a good bit of marvel stuff in there as well. avengers vol. 7 and asm vol. 4 stuff i just don't like the shrink wrap on em it's hard to get a 9.2 out of there. I really like the printed DC backer board that comes in them though.

I also got some of the Marvel Walmart issues. I posted it on the 'Marvel Comics Thread' as well. I've been lucky to have really high graded issues from the Walmarts in Northern VA. However, I've noticed for months now that they are not replenishing and the issues that are left are really in bad shape, thus no one has bought them.

Same here.
If you notice the blue box they are displayed in is actually part of the case that they are shipped in.
All they do is cut the top off and the comics are already in a "display cut."
They may or may not even get more in since I think they only re-order once the full display is emptied.
I see this often at where I work in the distribution center for Cabelas.

just picked up the last 3 packs they had at my wal mart.
all 3 were dc packs

Now I'm just waiting to see if they get more I doubt it but if they do I'll be scooping up the marvels for sure. and any Batmans.
Has anyone bought two of the same packs to see if there are different issues in the mix?
I don't know if it's random or if the same three issues wound up in the packs across the board.

The packs have random comics. Besides the cover of packs being a Walmart variant they have a few other variants mixed inside ... nice surprises!

Maybe by looking at the spines there will be just enough color showing through to see if i'm buying duplicates?
