Ive been going through my comic collection of spawn and noticed for the first time that the issue numbering is different between some of the earlier versions i bought news stand Australian versions of before I went and bought the USA/Can version.



Ie... i have australian issue which is numbered # 8 which based on story and cover should be issue #10

Same deal for Australian issue #5 is actually US issue #7

I only have thes

What would be the reason for this?

• there are 2 issues missing in the australian print run between #1 and #7 ( i only have the two new stand copies )
• its just a belated print run ( 2 yrs) for a region that no one really cared about the numbering with ?
• is there a printing mess up on this run of books ?
• does it even matter given they are australian print runs?

im assuming its a bit of all of the above and it doesnt mean anything. just made me stop and scratch my head when i saw it.
