I'm curious of everyone's thoughts on first appearances. With the Captain Marvel movie coming out, which comic do you think will benefit most? Marvel Super-Heroes #13 which is the first appearance of Carol Danvers or Ms. Marvel #1 which is the first appearance of Ms. Marvel. I would think Ms. Marvel, but curious of every everyone else's opinion.

I was thinking about the same thing. Both will increase in value but Ms. Marvel #1 is the one to buy in my opinion.

I should probably include Avenging Spider-man #9 (first appearance of Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel) and Captain Marvel #1 (came very soon after).
We now have 4 choices (among some others I am ignoring):
Marvel Super-Heroes #13
Ms Marvel #1
Avenging Spider-Man #9 (2012)
Captain Marvel #1 (2012)
What is everyone's thoughts as the most to benefit from the new movie? I am still leaning toward Ms Marvel #1, but think Avenging Spider-Man #9 will be a very close second.
Thoughts?

Based on recent sales Avenging Spider-Man #9 is the hotter book. Ms Marvel #1 sells well but is more inconsistent with pricing.
Doesn't the question come down to which is more closely tied to the movie, Carol Danvers as Ms Marvel or Captain Marvel?
Plus the cover by Dodson is incredible. I changed my mind Avenging now has my vote.

Marvel Super-Heroes #13 and Captain Marvel #18 will benefit the most. Mind you MSH13 has already been climbing a lot for the last three years. Ms. Marvel #1 will see some rise but it is fairly common and common in higher grade so the increase will be much lower. Avenging Spider-man #9, other than the Danvers accepting the mantle change isn't that big of a book though in the chase to make gold people have allotted value to it so it too could see a moderate rise in price. Everything will cool down and some values may even drop by the time of release.
